QUIZ RECAP

Wonderful day at Trubble brewing, The Kings of Trivia have been dethroned by "Tickle Tugglers" and he won out first place to get a FORTY DOLLAR gift card for the establishment. They gave them almost double the amount because he dethroned the team who have ended up winning the past 7 weeks here at Trubble Brewing.

Since we had a bunch of newcomers we ended up giving away a total of three gift cards, to 1st, 2nd, and 5th place. There are some pictures of the lucky winners listed and man did we all have a good time. "Turd Ferguson's big hat" got the 5th place prize and the no longer kings of trivia "we are those guys" still placed 2nd place.

I wanted to thank everyone who came out to play some trivia with us tonight, we had a wonderful time and we will be there AGAIN next Thursday AND next Saturday for a bonus DISNEY Themed trivia night. Hope to see you all again soon.

QUIZ RECAP

       We had an excellent turnout today with full rosters and several new teams making their King Trivia debuts. With Labor Day passing this Monday all the teams came in ready to clock some overtime with their brains. Several records occurred during the trivia game today. We had the "Brilliant Bitches" correctly identify Gwyneth Paltrow on the 10 point clue. Not to be overshadowed Birdboozled would not be content with merely defendeding their belt as four weeks running trivia champions. Birdboozled also set a venue record with 64 points correctly using the Double or Nothing bonus twice in the same game on Round 3 and Round 5. Notable we also had De Griswolds showcasing a new level of multi tasking completing homework while playing, they were seated with the laptop facing me so everything was fair.  Thanks everyone for coming out and playing. 

       We also have have breaking news! There will be a Disney themed quiz hosted here in Roanoke at Trubble Public House on September 25th. 

QUIZ RECAP

      We had a solid turnout and seem to have a stream of regular competitors as well as different weekly guests. I subbed in a question for Round 1 about the Blitzkrieg Bop to use as a lead in to play the song. We had a genuine aha moment as every team solved the Ozzy Osbourne clue within seconds of each other.  Birdboozled extends their winning streak to 3 games. Purely Casual gave an admirable effort down a couple players traditionally on their roster

     An exciting development in the world of Trubble Public House "Penguin Speed" is now on tap! This coffee flavored beer is my personal favorite fall release. Trivia will be back next Wednesday at 7P.M. but Penguin Speed and more delicious beer will be here every day.
