QUIZ RECAP

Fewer teams than normal, but a packed house and tons of fun, none-the-less tonight, at WeHo Sausage Co. 

The top three teams were all new to our trivia shenanigans:

1st:  Sir Calvin (63 points)

2nd: Goin’ up on a Tuesday (54 points)

3rd: C U Next Tuesday (47 points)

...and our drinking round was simply a challenge - to place "THE ODDEST OBJECT" on the bar - as determined by the staff/manager/owner. The drinking round winner was a fortune cookie message that said: "If we are all worms, try to be a glow worm." 
...go figure.

QUIZ RECAP

Another exciting night of trivia happened at WeHo Sausage Co. tonight!! With a top final score of NINETY NINE Points, I'm pretty sure that Lexi and the rest of Team Maximals Maximize will be back next week. (Other teams better hope there are no more Game Show-related questions, or they're bound to take first next week, too!)

Team Jellie had a fabulously admirable 65 points to snag Third place. And splitting the difference, with a final score of 72 points, Team Forever Chemicals took 2nd place AS WELL AS a whole "bucket of booze" (the Drinking Round Top prize) for their 'Artistic Interpretation of Original Origami'. Their entry (entitled 'Flying Nun') featured minimalist, realistic surrealism that brought beads of sweat to the brow of our guest judge, Mary. Well played, chemicals! 

I can't wait to see who shows up, and shows off, next Tuesday... see you then.

QUIZ RECAP

Another night of hard fought trivia. One of last week's winning teams (Mexican Meme Machine) left early, with 22 points, and a 'callback' answer for #10 of Find the Connection ("Balls")... leaving McTallikyle to reign fairly unimpeded for the last several rounds, and taking home their very first ever First Place! For our drinking round, it was helpful to know something about Mary... since the challenge was to write a poem, prose, or limerick to honor Mary (the woman behind the bar).  Harry Styles' 3rd Nipple and PupX coming in Second and Third places, right on McTallikyle's heels. All three teams took home a beautiful bottle of bubbly.
