QUIZ RECAP

Tonight was another round of trivia fun at XL Public House! Four teams joined, all returning teams! 'Party of 5' was new last week and won the previous week and have defended their throne this week as well with 39 points; 2 points ahead of our veteran team, 'It/s Only Cannablism If You Swallow". I have to say that tonight was a challenging night as far as trivia questions. There were many frustrated exclamations and "I thought I had it"s. We had a birthday in the house complete with singing, cupcakes, and pizza and our fantastic bar hosts provided a drink on the house--so if it's your birthday...it's a time in XL Public House--plus a free beer! So come by next week @ 7!

QUIZ RECAP

Packed house tonight! We had a whopping 7 teams and 31 players! The energy was up tonight and everyone came with their game faces on. The quiz questions were challenging and a few had hilarious exclamations for some of the answer reveals. A new team took home the trophy tonight, "Party of 5". They de-throned our reigning champions "Quiz On Your Face" and earned some pretty sweet tall beer glasses for their efforts. I photobombed our winning team who were really sweet and swept the competition. Three teams came in the end with the same 29 points and 2nd place was only narrowly achieved by 2 points. Overall, a fun and competitive crowd tonight with 3 returning teams! Not an empty table in sight, XL Public House is the hot spot in downtown Salinas!
