Tonight was another upbeat and entertaining evening here at XL Public House! Three returning teams and two new teams battled tonight to be the King Trivia Champs. Energy and witty banter were aplenty tonight and not an empty table in sight. Quiz questions were assuredly more challenging this week as all teams scored under 40 points. Last week multiple teams scored about 40. I learned new information and our players and patrons learned new information thanks to our scintillating quiz questions--yes, scintillating. We had ANOTHER tie breaker round tonight and Quiz On Your Face took it home for the second time in a row! Good job! XL Public House has fun new first place prizes every week, so please come join the fun!

We had three returning teams face off tonight. XL Public House was full and though many patrons came late they were interested in the game and shower interest in playing in the following weeks! No team ran away with the night making it an even game all the way until the very end. We had a TIE-BREAKER!!! Never before has a team tied for first, but tonight Quiz On Your Face and It's Only Cannablism If You Swallow tied with 44 points with Quiz On Your Face answering the tie breaker question most correctly. They each receieved a sweet Beer sign (seen in picture) and were psyched to come out on top!

Tonight was hoppin'. We had nine teams play with seven of those teams being brand new! The word about XL Public Trivia House is reaching interested patrons' ears and I am so happy to serve so many eager players! There was not a clear leader until round 6. One team was clearly ahead with two other teams tied for second. Then a surprise turn of events--our returning team, 'Quiz On Your Face' brought it home in the last round with a double or nothing steal! They named 10 of 11 college football teams and scored an extra whopping 20 points! They were the only team throught all rounds to utilize the double or nothing and man did it pay off! The rounds went smoothly and all players enjoyed the thrill of trivia!
