A lot of energy tonight at XL Public House! We have five returning teams and one new team to battle for first and second place prizes. The quiz tonight was not as challenging to the joy of the players. This crowd really knows their restaurants. We had a restaurant hand out round and four of the six teams scored twenty points with double or nothing--unprecendented! "Better Late Than Pregnant" ran away with the game with 8 more points than their runner-up. Runner-up was "It/s Only Cannablism If You Swallow", a frequent top finisher! Congratulations to both teams, everyone did quite well and will be back for more!

Tonight was another round of trivia fun at XL Public House! Four teams joined, all returning teams! 'Party of 5' was new last week and won the previous week and have defended their throne this week as well with 39 points; 2 points ahead of our veteran team, 'It/s Only Cannablism If You Swallow". I have to say that tonight was a challenging night as far as trivia questions. There were many frustrated exclamations and "I thought I had it"s. We had a birthday in the house complete with singing, cupcakes, and pizza and our fantastic bar hosts provided a drink on the house--so if it's your birthday...it's a time in XL Public House--plus a free beer! So come by next week @ 7!
