Congrats Streets of Rage on winning 1st place! They started strong with a successful double in Round 1 and finished with 73 points for the win. Their secret weapon tonight was eight (yes, eight) Blackthorn ciders (also, a new King's Head record). Reginald Vel Johnson took 2nd and Philtered Souls finished in 3rd. Also, special thanks to Philtered Souls for knocking over their table, and spilling/breaking several glasses. Thank was somewhat/very impressive!

One of our legendary trivia teams made a triumphant return to King's head tonight! Karaoke Whore Bowl returned and won 1st place with 80 points. They took the lead in Round 1 (successful double), lost the lead in the middle (-1 point in Round 4), and then retook the lead in Round 5 (another successful double). Streets of Rage finished in 2nd place (70 points). Just G took 3rd (55 points). Thank you to our guest host Lori B. for helping out with the music round! It was mostly/definitely better than any music I play 🙂

Here Ye' Here Ye'

We had a rambunctious night over at Ye Ol Kings Head with a packed house this night. It was an epic showdown that went neck and neck between a few select teams. In the first couple rounds we had 5 of the 8 teams tied for first with 16 points at the end of round 2. Towards round 3 that filtered out a bit with Repeat Question Juan leading the way with 36 points at the end of round 3. Keeping this lead they dominated one round after the next to close out strong with 86 points. The couple of the night, I Forgot My Mike Jones, came through and claimed second place, while we had a tie for third between two well known rivals ; Kitten Mittens & Streets of Rage. Kitten Mittens got the better of this round giving them 1 more win in the two teams personal series but tonights King of Trivia was Repeat Question Juan.
