Congrats Egghead Rancheros on winning 1st place! It was their first time playing at King's Head and they started tonight on fireee. They had a perfect score through three rounds and finished with 84 points for the win. Two of our better/best teams at King's Head, Streets of Rage and Kitten Mittens (meowww), were tied for 2nd place. The tiebreaker question was when the first Starbucks opened (1971). Both teams guessed in the 1970s, but Rage was one year closer and took 2nd place. Kittens came in 3rd. Pleaseee don't forget to spell C-O-C-O-N-U-T sometime this week.

Congrats The Conundrums on winning 1st place! We haven't seen The Conundrums aka Bend the Knee in weeks/months/years. They were on top of their trivia game tonight and almost had a perfect score. They had four successful doubles and finished with 95 points for the win. Kitten Mittens (meowww) were close for most od the night. They finished in 2nd place with 79 points (after an unsuccessful double in the last round). Another team we haven't seen in foreverrr, Stephen Hawking's Karaoke Machine, took 3rd with 67 points.

USA! USA! USA! It was a patriotic night of trivia on this Fourth of July Eve. We cited "The Pledge of Allegiance," sang "The Star Spangled Banner," and enjoyed Allen's performance of "Hold On, We're Going Home" by Drake. USAllen! USAllen! USAllen! Congrats Kitten Mittens (meowww) on winning 1st place! They took the lead early and finished with 74 points for the win. Streets of Rage finished strong with a successful double in the last round and tool 2nd with 70 points. The difference was an unsuccessful double on a question about Daniel Day Lewis's Oscars noms. Risking Risky Behavior (welcome back) finished in 3rd place. Have a great Fourth of July everyone!
