Wow what a dramatic night of trivia!! So many double downs... so many big fat zeroes. Regulars The Wallets of El Segundo took some bold chances that didn't pay off... and then a few that did! They clawed their way up to the middle. Pussy Over Pancakes, another loyal team of regulars, started strong, bounced around, but triumphed in the end to win the gold (which is a sweet $40 to use at OB's next time!).

Despite the crappy weather, we had a great game with 8 teams competing. A few bold Double Or Nothings gave The Wallets of El Segundo a commanding lead early in the game. We played baseball- and Seattle-themed songs to bid adieu to one of our regulars, Austin from Misunderstood Killahz, who is leaving us for that city's better weather (?!).

With a whopping 14 teams, nearly all of whom completed the entire game, this was a wild night of trivia at OB's! There were lots of Double or Nothing attempts, making the scores swing dramatically throughout the game. In the end, Swedish Fish Oreos, making their OB's debut (they usually play in other locations around LA), took the prize with an impressive 82 points. Can't wait for next week!
