QUIZ RECAP

It's always a pleasure hosting trivia when you have awesome regulars and fun newcomers! I think our regulars #FreePussyRiot were planning to rest on their laurels this week, but then Eternal Moonshine of The Drunken Mind showed up and challenged them for their regular first place spot. The rivalry pushed #FPR to play one of their best games ever - they didn't get a single answer wrong in rounds 1-6 AND they successfully doubled 4 out of the first 6 rounds!!! I was truly rooting for their perfect game, but they would eventually have a meltdown in Round 7, getting only 3 out of 10 answers correct. Nonetheless, it was an impressive game and they walked away winners! Special shoutout to EMDM for engaging in a fun match for the top prize. And while those 2 teams battled for first and second place, we had another battle going on for 3rd place; Teenaah! and Gertal ended Round 7 with 52 points each, calling on a Tie Breaker Question to settle the score. Congrats to Gertal for taking home 3rd place - even though NONE of the questions were about Sports or World War 1 like you so desperately hoped.... Come back next week, and maybe we will have a sports or WW1 theme round!

What a fun night with many newcomers to the game! Putin on the Ritz started in the 3rd round and was SO close to placing in the top 3... I'm confident if you come a little earlier next time, you will certainly have a shot at winning the top prize. Same thing goes for Free Pizza and Us who decided to play late in the game yet still did well with the questions they did answer. Otherwise, it was another night of our regulars battling it out for the top spot. This week is came down to a single point difference... While Indiana Jones The Movie held the lead for most of the game, it was Baseball who would eventually prevail, with The Pee Tape is Real keeping a firm hold on 3rd place. Thanks for coming out folks, let's do it again next week.
