We started with three,
But by the end it was five.

Tried their best but could not place.

QUIZ RECAP

The sun JUST went down as we started this game - thank you, Daylight Savings for the extra drinking time!

Not one, but TWO teams successfully Doubled their points in Round 1; Stormy Daniels and Bulletproof Boyscouts lead the charge with 12 points and would continue to fight for the lead until the final round.

Round 2 was a fun one, but Round 3 proved to be successful for nearly ALL teams as 3 out of 4 teams Doubled their points this round! This put The Boomers in the running for a top spot.

Round 4 wasn't a Guess Who? but rather a Guess Where? and nearly all teams got the answer correct by clue 2... Well done!

While she put up a tough fight, we began to lose Just Mom in Round 5 when she just couldn't Find The Connection. 

In Round 6 we separated the Boys from the Men.... quite literally, because the generation gap of The Boomers proved to be too much for this video game-based round, because both Stormy Daniels and Bulletproof Boyscouts Doubled their points, each gaining 20 for the round!

The Boomers put in a good showing for the final round, and I while I was really rooting for Bulletproof Boyscouts to take advantage of every extra point option available, it was actually Stormy Daniels who came out on top - in more ways than one - with 83 points!

Thanks to the wonderful staff at Barnacles for letting us play, and also for giving this Quizmaster a fun, new water cup very week... First it was an actual pitcher, then a color-changing cup, and this week it was mini tin keg! Stick around to see what they give me next week!

QUIZ RECAP

While the Oscars played silently on the Barnacles TVs, our first successful Double or Nothing attempt came from #metoo... Oh, congrats Kobe! They would later go on to Double again in Round 3. And just when we all thought #metoo... were too far ahead to catch, Oreos Double Stuffed completed their own successful Double up in Round 6, bringing them into a tight race for the lead!

The Never Been Tested's had started off strong but then slowly lost their edge. And unfortunately we lost All My Friends Are Dead (oh, the irony!) in the middle of the game. The steadiest team of the night was Phone A Friend, consistently putting points on the board and landing them in a 3rd place slot!

Back to our top two teams: in an unexpected twist, #metoo... struggled in the final round and after having their original pen stolen they were NOT able to capitalize on the 2-point bonus for returned pens. Meanwhile, Oreos had a solid final round AND returned their pen for a 2-point bonus...... bringing us into a TIE BREAKER ROUND!

It came down to one number, a random date, and a best guess... But #metoo... Oh, Congrats Kobe! prevailed to take home the win!

Looks like it was a great night for Kobe.
