QUIZ RECAP

It was a night of goodbyes and new beginnings. QM Dave was on hand to pass on the torch to QM Keith.

As for the game, it was a tight race to first place throughout the evening. After the first two rounds, Mockingbird seemed like the clear favorite to win, but after some successful Double-or-Nothings in Round 3, Luna Chicks pulled into the lead with Quizzards of Odds a close second.

Round 4 became a make-or-break Round for some teams, as Claire Danes was known to some and rather elusive to others.

But in the end, it all came down to judgement. Or rather, those who make judgement - reality show style that is. With their vast knowledge of TV reality show judges, Quizzard of Odds successfully doubled down on the final round and took home top prize with 67 points.

In the end, friendships were tested, life-long enemies were formed, and a new Quizmaster was warmly welcomed to the family.

The night ended with a traditional knighting ceremony where former QM Dave gave all the powers of the Quizmaster to Keith. He will carry the torch for ages to come.

Look at all those smiling faces! I was set for a low turnout on the night before the 4th of July, but you all soldiered out and made the night a blast.

Femme Fatale took third with 46. Quizzards of Odds grabbed second with 48. Lunachicks snagged first with 51.

Oh, man. SHENANIGANS on THAT dude, right??? The shame he felt for yelling out an answer was enough to make him and his table move. Maybe he was in the bathroom when I read the rules.

With ten teams, three emerged victorious and earned a prize. The Regulars slid into third with 43. Oldies But Goodies brought out some friends and took second with 44. Femme Fatale killed everyone with their two X chromosomes and walked away with first at 60.
