What had 9 teams and surprised all of us? Tuesday Night Trivia at Chuy's! With the latest turnout we've had since I started, 39 of you came out to play, albeit many of you were a little late. It's OK, you still came!

Welcome to our first-timers We Are Here For Fun who were actually there to eat and got talked into playing. Sure, they came in last, but how did YOU do your first time out?

There was a 2-way tie for fourth place between Alternative Facts and Rabid For Mini Golf, and we solved it with a tiebreaker: How many total Winter Olympics medals does Norway have as of 2017? RFMG took third with 150, while AF answered 71. The correct answer was 329.

The Regulars ended up in second with 47, and Family Circus walked away with first at 59. Congratulations to both teams for successfully doubling up once.

Come on out next week and see if I can get my mouth to work properly with the words I'm supposed to say. Don't forget to bring everyone you see!

Twas the day after Christmas, and all through the bar, nary a creature was stirring 'cept for some people searching to be trivia stars. The teams were a-nestled all snug at their table, while they answered some questions and saw what was on cable. Three teams did we start with, and then grew to four. I tallied the points and then gave the score.

Byrds The Word left early with six, leaving only three teams still in the mix. Ice Cold Beer Often took third: twenty five, with now two teams left in the hive. Vacationers got second with points 31, and with a commanding lead Family Circus, they won. At 56 points and two times good doubles, they reduced their opponents to mere Christmas rubble.

So, bring out your family, and find some new friends, come out to our trivia and get drinks of blends.

Look at my elephant! No, up in the pics. Tonight was a fun, but scary night. At almost 7, we had only one team there. We decided to wait a few minutes, and 4 teams materialized! I know y'all have other stuff to do and that it's Christmas, but let's try to get started on time.

We had 3 rounds of Double or Nothings, and 9 successful attempts out of 13. One team managed to get a perfect score but forgot to double down, thus ending up 4th instead of 3rd. In round 7, no one got a perfect score, and 4 teams doubled down to eventually get a goose egg.

Just Us took 3rd with 59, Lumberjacks got 2nd with 64, and Mockingbirds eked out another victory with 65. Bassoons and Alternative Facts ended up making a couple costly errors, but still turned in scores of 49 and 52, respectively.

We'll be back on Tuesday, the day after Christmas, so brush up on your Boxing Day knowledge. I'm sure it'll be a knockout! Don't forget to bring everyone with you.
