QUIZ RECAP

A full house tonight at Collision (including all 8 of Nancy's grandkids)! Those grandkids, as Who Are All These Kids?, hit a successful double-or-nothing to jump into the lead after Round 1 and were steady throughout the night until faltering in the final round.  Fantasia 2023 restored order by being high scorers in the Picture Round, and hit a double of their own in Round 3 to establish a lead they would not surrender; newcomers Where's Scott (joined by Dickens Cider) were joint 2nd-high scorers in that round, though they clearly missed Scott all night 😉

#momjeans got back into the running by being one of only 2 teams to correctly "Guess Who", each for 4 points, and they made a bit of a late run with 7 of a possible 8 and 9 out of 10 in Rounds 5 & 6, but in the end Fantasia 2023 cruised home to win by 13 points over #momjeans.  See you all in two weeks!

QUIZ RECAP

What a finish!  It was great to have Trebek's Rejects back in the house this week, and they started out strong as high scorers in Round 1 with 6 points out of a possible 6.  First-timers Sacktroymento scored 7 of 8 in the Picture Round and moved into a tie with the Rejects by getting all 6 right in the 1st Theme Round.  Trebek's Rejects were high scorers in the Guess Who round with 6 points, and jumped out in front of the pack with a successful double-or-nothing in the Find The Connection round.  They were poised to coast home with a win, and made the smart play of NOT doubling in the final round; they got all 10 right but were almost caught at the finish line by Sacktroymento, whose double brought them within 2 points of the win!

A good time was had by all, see you all (and more) next week!

QUIZ RECAP

Big thanks to all who braved the heat this week....97 degrees in Longmont tonite!  Fantasia 2023 picked up where they left off last week, converting a successful double-or-nothing to start the night and jump out in front.  When they hit another double in Round 4 they seemed on their way to an easy win, and they were high scorers in the Guess Who Round, answering Lenny Kravitz for 8 points to lead by 14...until #momjeans leapfrogged everyone with a double of their own to move in front by 2 points.  That is, until Fantasia 2023 scored another double (their THIRD of the night) in the handout round, effectively sealing the win.  Tip of the hat to Wolf, who hit a double of his own in Round 3.  #momjeans had a good night and scored 7 of a possivle 10 in the final round to finish with 53 points, but Fantasia 2023 cruised home as high scorers in the last round (with 9) and for the overall game (with 67 points).  Thanks all, see you in 2 weeks!!
