QUIZ RECAP

Tonight was our first night back from a few week hiatus and boy what a night it was.  There was a great turn out of our regular teams as well as an equal amount of new teams who came in to try and dethrone the regulars.  Our newbies definitely put up a good fight, even taking the lead early on in the game, but in the end we had a tie for first between the Wahine's and Albatross.   Our tie question was "what was the population of Madrid, spain in 2015," and while the winner was Albatross, they only won by margin of less than 20,000 people!   When you're dealing with a population of over 3,000,000, 20,000 is only a blip on the radar.

Our drinking round question was: "If you were Kim Kardashian, what would your new years resolution be?"

Some of our answers included

Albatross: "Have triplets and name them East, West, and South"

Risky Quizness: "Spend less time on 'the gram' and become more family focused."

LB/SB: "Have another child and name him another direction" (seems like this was a popular answer!)

Schrodingers Cat's and Dogs: "Take less Butt selfies"

I dunno: "Leave the Jewelry at home"

Sandabs: "Balance another Champagne glass on my ass"

QUIZ RECAP

The last trivia before the new year, :,-(, lead to quite the competition between our regular teams.  Up until the last round, 5 of our teams had hit the double or nothing on at least two rounds!  This resulted in some really high scores that we don’t normally see!

A hot round of trivia pursued once again at Malarkey's. Teams were neck to neck throughout the competition, with Wicked Wahines leading the pack for most of the game.  After a turn around in the 5th round, Grace under Fire, a new team to Malarkey's, pulled at upset and came our barely ahead with 2 points to finish off the night.
