QUIZ RECAP

A nice mellow evening at Malainey's Grill for this substitute Quizmaster! Can't think of a better way to spend a Tuesday night than in my hometown with such a warm group of diehard trivia fans. But as always, only three groups could emerge victorious!

In the end, it was Whiskey Quizness who got first with 67 points! They were followed closely by Mike Tyson's Speech School with 60 points, followed by Albatross with 48. Well done, all teams!

QUIZ RECAP

Well, I think we may have had the highest score of any games that I as quizmaster have ever seen. A perfect trivia score is 110, that includes hitting every single double or nothing in the game. One of our teams this evening came with that number in mind. Much like an elite athlete envisions the world record of their event as something to aim for, the Wicked Wahines envisioned that 110 as their prize. While they didn't quite hit that number, yet, it won't be long until they give the game what for and walk off with a perfect score.

Wow what a night for tie games, at the end of the game we had 6 teams that had tied for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place. Not only had I as quizmaster never seen so many ties in a single night, the geoupbataegr hadn't either. This lead to every team staying the extra 10 or so minutes to see who would end up the Victor and who would walk away and come back next week with a vengeance.
