QUIZ RECAP

What a great start to the new year. Several returning teams and a few new friends came to show us what they've got. Exceptional performance from 3 Old Hags, who came just ONE point shy of first, but walked away with the W in the drinking round. One Man Wolfpack lived up to the name and placed ON HIS OWN against some very tough competitors. At the end of the night only one name rung out above the pack and that name was Shrek, who eked out a single point victory ahead of the aforementioned 3OH.

QUIZ RECAP

Neithter cold nor rain could keep our interepid contestants away this week. In the final Quiz of 2021, we saw our brave combatants slug it out in a fierce competition that saw the top three teams with only a single point separating each of them from one another. The drinking round saw D-Generation X make the best movie poster with a royal flair, narrowly edging out Bare Bones whose deep Steve Gutenberg cut nearly secured it. In the end, the three who walked away with their heads held high and a fresh gift card in their hands were , in ascending order, Bare Bones, D-Generation X and Quizzing in the Rain! 

Next week will see the triumphant return of several of our regulars who made their way out of town for the holidays. If you want to test your mettle against the best that Toluca Lake has to offer, we'll see you then at Mrs Robinson's!

Great game this week. Never the types to let a quiet evening get boring, our contestants slugged it out this week in what turned out to be a fierce competition. Late arriving team Jessica may have gotten here too far in to place, but Three Old Hags, AvaMaria and Thurston Waffles brought it and finished in 3rd, 2nd and 1st respectively.
