Welcome to Wednesday Night Trivia. Where the spelling is made up and the points do matter. 

I saw a lot of familiar faces which pumped me and the quizers up like a FourLoko (thankfully the Pub doesn't sell those). Luckily by Round 2 we found our "Namaste" and got into the groove. Teams really showed up to play, and it really was anybody's game. But in the end, this week will be called "The Rise of Trivia Rodrigo" because with strategic double downs and  perfect jokes, they rose to victory. 

After Rounds 1 & 2 I thought this week was going to be a 12-way tie. I saw each team working together to showcase each player's strength -- even if the Drunkin Donut's strength was making sure everyone had a full beer. It wasn't until Round 5 that things got "wild".  Successful doubles and finding the connection were the name of the game. In the end, it came down to who has eaten the most variety of pizza (geography of Italy, but basically the same).

If any of you are looking for a new trivia player to join your team, please note that the captain of the last place team was my highschool Engilsh teacher. I might not be an asset in literature...hahahaha

Welcome to Wednesday Night Trivia. Where the spelling is made up and the points don't matter. 

This is the first week back to in-person trivia!!! Despite working out the week 1 kinks and jitters (microphone, new online system, scoring Round 4), we all had a great time. Really glad I read the quetions ahead of time...due to my dietary choices some of those vegetables were hard to pronounce!

Teams were excited to show off their niche knowledge they learned on Jeopardy. This week, I threw a nasty Kershaw curve ball, but teams hit it out of the park with round after round of right answers and successful double downs. 

In the first two rounds, there was starting to be a clear winner in Meat Dress. But in Round 3, Trivia Rodrigo and Justive for JonBenet pulled a rabbit out of a hat and took the lead. It was really anybody's game until a Meat Dress successful double in Round 6 to pull ahead. 

I want to thank all of the players for showing up, dropping knowledge, and having fun!!!
