This was a good night at Spud Monkey's
Witless Wonders, Hit It & Quidditch came back to showdown their trivia prowless. Special Guest appearances made by If It's Brown Flush it Down and Here For The Beer.
Yours truly had the tunes bumping and grooving while the food and drinks were flowing. Fun times! You should have been there.
Witless Wonders started off the 1st round strong with a solid 4 points followed by a strong showing from Hit & Quidditch and Here For the Beer with 3 points a piece. Our new comer, If It's Brown Flush It Down put 1 point on the board. At this point it still was any teams' game for the taking.
During the second round Witless Wonders made a good call with a doubled score putting them in a commanding lead with 20 points. Here For the Beer put another 6 on the scoreboard and held down second place with 9 points, followed by Hit It & Quidditch with 6 and If It's Brown Flush It Down with 4 points.
By round four there had been a drastic development in the tone of the game. Witless Wonders pulled solidly in the lead with 34 points and in second place was Here For The Beer with 10 and Hit and Quidditch with 8.
By round 6 Witless Wonders continued to dominate with another 8 points to their total making them that much closer to another 1st place victory, but Here For The Beer had and impressive round adding 20 points to their total putting them within striking distance of Witless Wonders, with 35 points. Hit It & Quidditch maintained 3rd with 14 points.
Once again the 1st place crown would come down to the 7th and final round. Hiti it and Quidditch ended the night with 20 points, plus the addtional 2 bonus points for being a registered team, totally 2 points. Here For The Beer came in 2nd with 42 points with a 7 point final round.
Now for your 1st place winner, Witless Wonders for the 5-peat! They ended the night with a solid 50 points and another set of bragging rights. Cheers to them and all of the players!

Welcome back! Tuesday nights are the spot for trivia with King Trivia at Spud Monkey's.
It was the best of times down at Spud Monkey's this Tuesday. The usual suspects, Witless Wonders, Hit It & Quidditch and Cap & Iron Man were back in the house. It was also nice for Vito the Guido to make an appearance.
The music was rocking, and the drinks a flowing. Good times were had... let's see just how good of a time.
Witless Wonders started off the 1st round strong with a perfect score of 6 out 6 followed by a strong showing from Cap & Iron Man with 5 points. Hit It and Qudditch and Vito the Guido both put 4 points on the board.
The second round was an impressive showing by 3 teams all getting a perfect score and doubling. Vito the Guido, Cap & Iron Man and Witless Wonders all received 16 points in round 2. Witless Wonders maintained their 1 point lead (22) to Cap & Iron Man's 21.
By round four there had been some shifting on the leader board. Vito The Guido had capture the lead with 33 points, Cap Iron Man stayed in 2nd with 32 and Witless Wonders had dropped to 3rd at 28 points.
By round 6 Witless Wonders had put 2 impressive 9 point rounds on the board putting them back in the lead with 46 points followed by Cap & Irpn man with 42 points and Vito the Guido slipped into the 3rd with 40 points.
The 1st crown would come down to the 7th and final round. Hiti it and Quidditch ended the night with 35 points, plus the addtional 2 bonus points for being a registered team, totally 37 points. Vito the Guido came in 3rd with 42 points with a 2 point round. Iron Man and Captain America added 5 points to their total ending the night with 47 points and second place. Congratulations to 2nd place winners and the other contestants.
Now for your 1st place winner, Witless Wonders for the 4-peat in 4 weeks! They put 10 (perfect round) down on the 7th and final round and also received their 2 bonus points which brought their final score to 58 points. Very impressive!

Welcome back! Tuesday nights are the spot for trivia with King Trivia at Spud Monkey's.
Something about this Tuesday was different. Maybe it was the amazing weather blessing the Portland metro area or the unofficial holiday that was the root of the casual turn out. The show must go on nonetheless!
We had the faitful regular teams in the house. Witless Wonders came back to defend their title and go the three-peat. Hit It & Quidditch came to play and they did not disappoint. We also had a new team join us for first time. Shout out to team Iron Man and Captain America. Glad to see guys jump into the King Trivia mayhem. 🙂
How did it go?
Well, Hit It & Quidditch started out of the gate strong. First round they racked up 6 points and it the second round another 6 points. Not to be out done Witless Wonders pulled 5 points in round 1 and another 8 in round 2 to capture the lead with 13 points.
Iron Man and Captain America ended round 2 with 9 points. At this point it still was any teams' game for the taking.
Round 4 was a rough round. All teams suffered a loss of 1 point mistakenly guessing who the person was in the Guess Who round 6 Iron Man and Captain America had 12 on the score card, Hit It and Quidditch had 29 and Witless Wonders had extended their lead to 7 coming in with 36 points.
The 1st crown would come down to the 7th and final round. Iron Man and Captain America added 5 points to their total ending the night with 17 points. Hit it and Quidditch mustered a 8 point rally to conclude the night with 37 points plus their 2 point bonus for being a registered team.
And your winner is Witless Wonders for the 3-peat in 3 weeks! They put 4 down on the 7th round and also received their 2 bonus points which brought their final score to 42 points.
