King Trivia was back in the house for another night of wonderful, hits and answers you should have picked! (inside joke)

We had a quaint bunch this Tuesday but a good time nonetheless.

1st round:

At this point it still was anybody's game! No team had attempted a double and there were still 4 rounds to go.

Round 7, the last and final round was a tough one. Witless Wonders put the top score on the board this roun with  4 points.  Hit It & Quidditch both added I should have picked that answer!!! added 2 points during round 7.

With a final score of 17 points, Hit & Quidditch. Thanks for coming out and particpating! With a final score of 35 points and 2nd place, I should have picked that answer!! Glad to have you all out. I hope you had a good time with you first King Trivia experience!

Welcome back to Spud Monkey’s!

As usual, Tuesday night is the place be for Trivia in the Portland area. KING Trivia was in the house. 

This week had 3 new teams join us. Jokers, Skuttle Butts and The lollipop guild.

To start off, round 1 Witless Wonders came in strong with perfect score of 6 and doubled for 12. Jokers put 4 on the board followed by Skuttle Buts and The lollipop guild with 3 points. Hit It & Quidditch put 2 points on the score board as we were just getting started.

Round 2, the picture round.

Skuttle Butts impressively added 6 points to their score. Witless Wonders continued their high performance and added another 5 points, followed by The lollipop guild with an additional 3 points a piece. Hit it & Quidditch added 2 points to their total and Jokers put 1 point more on their score. It still was anyone’s game at this point.

Round 3, Skuttle Butts added 4 more points followed by Witless Wonders who put another 3 points on their total along with The lollipop guild. Hit It & Quidditch and Jokers both added 2 points to their scores.

As we progressed through the night, we learned that this Tuesday was happily national French Fry Day! This queued an appropriate dance response. 🙂 You had to be there!

Round 6 was where things got interesting. Witless Wonders showed off their movie knowledge by matching all 10 Oscar winners to their film in the Supporting for duty round. They doubled for a total of 20 points! Skuttle went for the double but missed 1, just coming up shy for the full 20. Hit it & Quidditch added 6 points to their score and The lollipop guild put an additional 5 points on the board.

Round 7, Skuttle Butts completed the last round adding another 5 points to their total for a final count of 34 points and 2nd place! Congratulations to them.

The lollipop guild added 2 points to their score for the final round to end the night with 24 points and 3rd place! 

Hit It & Quidditch added 1 more point to their score and end the night with a final score of 23 points. A valiant effort!

And your reigning champions, Witless Wonders put another 4 points on the score board to end the night with 64 points and the 1st place yet again, remaining undefeated! Congratulations!

Welcome back to Spud Monkey's!

This Tuesday was a fun one and thick with competition. We had a few new teams join us for the King Trivia festivities. Were you there? 😀

Our 3 new teams were the lovely ladies of Mask Me a Question, and we had Quizlonzo make their freshman appearance, Bookers House was in the house—  er bar. 

Back from vacation, Witless Wonders came through. Our MVT (Most Valuable Team) of consistency and reliability, Hit It & Quidditch was on the scene.

Starting in round 1, Hit It & Quidditch did make a scene! They answered all of the questions correctly and hit the double for a total of 12 points! Quizlonzo put 5 points on the board for their first round. Mask Me A Question started off the first round with 3 points. Witless Wonders and Bookers House went for the double in the first round and came up short, but it was still anyone's game.

Round 2:

Hit It & Quidditch put another 6 points on the board keeping their momentum up followed by Witless Wonders with 4 points. Quizlonzo and Bookers House both added another 3 points and Mask Me A Question put 2 on the board.

Round 3:

I Pity the Fu! ( I tried-- you had to be there.) Hit It & Quidditch added another 6 points, followed by Quizlonzo with 5 more points and Bookers House with 4 points and Mask Me A Question with 3 points. Witless Wonders went for the double this round and missed their points, but it was still anyone's game!

Round 4 is where things got interesting.

Witless Wonders and Bookers House impressively added 10 more points to their score with an answer of Jordan Peele on the first clue! Hit It & Quidditch and Quizlonzo shot their shots and got hit with the penalty this round but it still was anyone's game.

Now in Round 6 Witless Wonders went for the double on the Tell Tale Art handout and this time they connected. A perfect score of 10 points x2 equaled an additional 20 points! Hit It and Quidditch added a solid 9 points, and Quizlonzo added 5. Bookers House put up another 3 points.

It came down to the final round. Round 7, Witless Wonders put 7 on the board, Quizlonzo added 5, Hit It & Quidditch added 4 and Bookers House added 3 point to their final score.

And the winner of Spud Monkey's King Trivia this night is, Witless Wonders! (50 points) Keeping their competition record flawless. Hit It & Quidditch came in a strong second place with 44 points.
