This Tuesday was full of surprises! It looked like it was going to rain, but then it turned out beautiful; there was a beer rep at Tapster giving us free samples of a fantastic hazy IPA, and most importantly, we had some scoring upsets! Ya Never Know took a strong early lead and held on all the way until round 6, when two other teams hit their stride with strategic uses of doubling. The final placement was The Voodoo Rangers taking first, Returning 4th place taking second (congrats on the upgrade!), and Ya Never Know rounding out the winners in third place. It was a beautiful, sultry Tuesday night in Philly and the competition was almost as hot as the evening! Rocky Balboaner took an early lead, but Potato man kept them on their toes, with both teams alternating between first and second place. We ended up taking it to a tiebreaker, with happy results for Potato man - they came out to celebrate a birthday and ended up celebrating a quizzo victory as well! Rocky Balboaner took a very close second, and rounding out the top three was Sorry I can't stay. Thanks to everyone for playing!

It was the unofficial start of summer this past weekend, the weather was beautiful, frosé is back at Tapster, and tonight was trivia night - what could be better? This was a tight game throughout, ending with only 17 points separating the top and bottom teams! Krusty Krew took third place, Funny Names finished one point ahead of them in second place, and regulars Beer and Popcorn took home the top prize.
