Another beautiful Tuesday evening and another great round of quizzo at Tapster tonight! We saw a surprisingly tight race for third place, with last-minute surprises and dark horse doubles, but it finally shook out that 4053 took the (proverbial) bronze medal! It may have been dreary outside this Tuesday evening, but the only things pouring inside Tapster were cold ones! SoftCockz took an early lead and held on tight, finishing in first place with an astonishing 74 points. Hardcore rocketed into second with a perfect doubled sixth round, and Laurens team rounded out the winners circle with a third place finish. As a fair and impartial Quizmaster, I shouldn't have favorites, but I have to admit that I was rooting for The Bermuda Triangles, who unsuccessfully doubled no fewer than three rounds, meaning that they actually went into round 5 with negative one points - what can I say, I love the chutzpah! They ended up tying with S+Z in a respectable fifth place, with Alex Trebek's Fan Ckub finishing just ahead in fourth place. Our top three, taking home eternal glory and money off their tab, were baked_potatoes in third, Beer and Popcorn in second, and NARPS in first.
