Twisted Sage is beautiful!! Really amazing cafe with such fun energy! It was an exciting night of trivia between these 7 formidable teams. We're a Sandy Mess was able to secure that first place win by a whopping 13!!! points! Round 6 was probably the height of excitement of the night when 3 separate teams were all able to successfully double or nothing! Here's to next week!

Lots of Mother's Day themed questions and a great venue, even with the distraction of some sort of Basketball game, gave us a lot of fun competition for the only Friday night King Trivia location! "Smart but not in THAT way" belied their name and jumped into an early lead, with a successful double down, and maintained it to the end of game. The tussle ensued for 2nd and 3rd places, with "Periodic Table Dancers" not only gaining 2nd, but also winning a delicious pitcher of beer in the Beer Round. A 3rd place tie was decided when Pedroza came up with a closer guess of the number of Mr Rogers' Neighborhood (895 is the answer) !

Only a select handful of the regular teams came out for what would be my final night of hosting trivia at Twisted Sage Cafe. The teams that didn't show were the bigger teams that usually duke it out for the title, so it really was anyone's game that night. To sweeten the pot, a local brewery dropped off a 4 pack of craft brew tall boys to go to the first place team. It was all the more competitive after that. 6 is the perfect number was thirsty for a first place win and it showed as they pulled in the lead during the first round. Periodic table dancers, equally pumped up for a dub pulled ahead after that in round 2 after a successful double down. First place changed hands yet another time when Rich Bitch 6 doubled down and tied the periodic table dancers for first place. The guess where round 4 is what split up the leads with rich bitch 6 and 6 is the perfect number both getting it on the 10 point clue! 6 is the perfect number stayed pretty even scoring wise with the first place team rich bitch 6 after that, but it was ultimately the lack of a successful double down that prevented the W. Periodic Table dancers managed to play strong through the rest of the game and edged out 6 is the perfect # by only one point. It was a very respectable scrap to the finish with rich bitch keeping their lead after round 4 despite a tough round 6 performance.
Congratulations to all the teams on their excellent playing and even better prizes! Also a huge congratulations to "LMR & WAE" of Rich Bitch 6 on their recent marriage. May you have many years of trivia dominance together.
