QUIZ RECAP

Apart from Round 5, I think everyone had fun tonight!

There were no Knives Out in Round 1, and the Round 2 was treasured by all participants, especially the 3 amigas with a successful double down to take the lead!

This prevailed via Round 3 (theme Michigan), until Round 4 when the captain of the Ship of Fools heard mensch of his fave movie Moonlight Mile and knew Ellen Pompeo was Guess Who for 8. Nearly everyone else thought it was J L or J Garner...new leader on the board.

Four Burgers took the Survey Slam Beer Round - well done!

Let's skip the universally disliked Round 5! Round 6 was well answered by SOF, but....What of Lazarus - they too doubled down and were only one point behind going into round 7...drum roll...

THE 8 REMAINING TEAMS (Kings and Queens had some royal business to attend to) GOT ALL THE ROUND 7 ANSWERS RIGHT AND DOUBLED DOWN! CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE!!!

In Pursuit of Happiness, I hope to see everyone back next Friday at this great venue!

PS check out my cat Hamilton (Round 5 reference, but he really is called Hamilton, it was my grandmother's maiden name!) - he's giving me the stink eye for my late review!

Twas a night of terrific trivia on this fun Friday night in fall

teams new and old, big and small

all competing for points and prizes

The night also had some surprises

One lucky man was brave enough to mummify himself and was rewarded with beer

everyone happy for his fortunes clapped with cheer!

By the end of the night Snafu World Wide took first place!

Don't tell Nora came in second, not too far behind in that exciting trivia race

in Third was Not Dead Pest.

If you ask me, I'd say they still aced the trivia test

Funky 2.0 came in Funky Fourth

Super confident but not that confident ended with fifth

and last in arrival but not least in good efforts was Fashionably Late

Who given the circumstances, still did quite great!

No fowl things afoot (round 2 reference) at Twisted Sage - just fun, food and company of the highest excellence!

Very even scoring right up to the end between The Diplomats and the Censored by CCP (sensing a theme?!) led to a tie....there were brave (but unsuccessful) double downs by the other teams that could have changed everything....if only there had been a white crayon in that first box from Crayola....!

The Diplomats won the beer round (and graciously shared the pitcher!) and the tie breaker to take the win!

Thanks everyone for a fun night, and the staff too! Sorry I will miss y'all next Friday, but King Trivia is always there for you!
