QUIZ RECAP

A fiercely competitive night! Fear of Flying started strong with a double, won Round 4 in a near instant and solidly doubled in Roudn 6- they came to slay, not to play. Congrats on your win!

Recurring champions Donny struggled a bit that night, a misstep in round 2 led to ZERO points in a failed double, but nailing round 5 and a successful round 6 double led them to a comfortable spot in the top 2. Stellar work

And a major shout out to our bronze team, AlmostOkay.co.uk! A successful round 3 double and a picture perfect finale led them to rounding out top 3 in the endgame. Well done!

Congratulations to all our teams who came out to play tonight! It's good to be back; I'll see you next week?

QUIZ RECAP

For it being my inaugural game, my first pitch of sorts, I was glad to be surrounded by smiling and friendly faces! Filling in for the enigmatic Quizmaster Joe, I brought the teams 7 rounds of brain scratchers...had a few well placed doubles, that brought the "Number of guys Sean blew" team into first place AGAIN! Are they smart? Are they nerdy? Is there a difference? I'll figure it out for next time ??

Plus, the drinking round was a art contest, where I challenged each team to draw a picture of me, and I chose my favorite from a blind choice (the pictures were mixed and I didn't know who drew what)...lets just say they were all beautiful (and one, well, is a little too hot for the Internet)...but, Fear of Flying brought their art skills and won the drinking round! See mom, all that tuition at ArtCenter was well spent!

All in all, even though it was a small gathering (almost every team won a prize), there was lots of energy and everyone had a blast!

Woof, this was a night.

Our regulars were on the ropes for a bit when newcomers Oh Joe She Didn't had everyone on the ropes, doubling successfully TWICE in a row. However, recurring champions Donny weren't ready to give up and nailed a Hail Mary double in the final round- sealing their win by a margin of seven points. Well done!

I'm out of town for a wedding next week- be nice to the baby sitter, okay?
