Let it be said: you are all-stars.

Tonight at Underdogs, five of our best teams were playing. Each one had one a minimum of one game before, and now they were throwing down in the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny. Tonight was our own personal Underdogs All-Stars Championship ROYALE!

This was an incredible game, with scores and positions constantly volleying. Nevertheless, it all came down to the final round.

Four out of five teams had successfully doubled in the final round, each of them with beyond impressive scores. Gingko 1997, with their impressive note-taking, drafting, and deductive strategy had already well secured the gold with their double.

But of course, when this much talent is in one room- it's not just one tiebreaker.

It's a goddamn THREE WAY TIE to fill the top three!

Three teams entered, one team emerged victorious. Britney (formerly Wakanda) Forever was the closest, securing second. Almost Okay walked away with third. And as for my Homeless Dude lovers...well, honestly I was just happy to have you here.

Gingko 1997 cleaned house tonight by doubling early and never stopping! Congrats guys! You're on a hot streak now, two weeks in a row!

The bigger competition was the race for silver and bronze- veterans Almost Okay and newcomers Lily Loves Elevate went back and forth in position until they tied in Round 6. Lily and her friends recklessly doubled on the final round to secure that victory...but stumbled (sorry Eat, Pray. Love didn't make more money) and paved the way for Almost Okay to take a well earned silver.

I will day this about Underdogs- these teams get close and they get competitive!

Only a narrow margin of points separates our top 5, and it all came down to successful doubles.

Congrats to our new champions, Gingko 1997! They brute forced the last round by literally matching the letter "H" with every possible vowel and consonant combination to get the countries that began with the letter "H". Now that's work.
