QUIZ RECAP

It was a rowdy night of trivia at Cactus Jack's with five teams joining in on the fun! 

Phil & the Buttercups took an early lead in the General Knowledge round, and everyone did well in the SNL themed Picture Round, but the tables turned in the Heroes and Villains Theme Round with Furries playing a successful double or nothing and taking the lead!  Unfortunately, Phil & the Buttercups took the same bet and lost, earning no points in this round due to one measly incorrect answer. 

Everyone was able to successfully guess Macaulay Culkin in the Guess Who Round, but Phil & the Buttercups were the only team to correctly guess the Gold theme in the Find the Connection round, making up many of the points from their failed double or nothing.  Furries were able to successfully double their points AGAIN in the Handout Round putting them in a solid lead heading into the final List Round.  In a triumphant feat, Phil & the Buttercups managed to pull into second place for the final standings, taking home a gift card along with Furries.

Looking forward to an awesome next week! 

I highly recommend coming in costume, as it's the Wednesday before Halloween!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a nice cool day in Evergreen, CO and Cactus Jack's was hoppin'!  Three teams took on the challenge of King Trivia, but only one could win (although second place gets a gift card too!)

Putin Framed Gruden took an early lead in the General Knowledge round, and a perfect Picture Round where they showcased their knowledge of cereal mascots kept them there.  The red, white, and blue Themed Round saw every team move up four points, but only Putin Framed Gruden was able to successfully guess Barbara Bush in the Guess Who? round, and they were able to successfully Find the Connection in round 5 putting them in a solid lead! 

Putin Framed Gruden maintained their lead through the literature themed Matching Round and the Ocean's 11 List round and came out with a solid lead, but fun was had by all!

QUIZ RECAP

Another excellent night at Cactus Jack's!  We had trivia outside to enjoy the last few days of warm enough Colorado weather in 2021 and both teams played an excellent game!

The General Knowledge round saw All the Dicks take an early lead (by one point) but the Picture Round saw The Arnold's tie it up!  Both teams remained tied through the ice cream Themed Round and the Guess Who round, until All the Dicks gained a two point lead after correctly guessing the connection in the Find the Connection round.  Both teams struggled with their knowledge of historical couples in the Matching Round, but both successfully doubled on the final List Round! 

In the end, the two points in the Find the Connection round were the game winning goals for All the Dicks, but both teams had a ton of fun AND left with gift cards for their next visit to Cactus Jack's.
