Week three at King Leroy,

so far it’s been sheer joy!

Getting to know folks on a first name basis,

the bartenders and chef are ever-so-gracious.

Asking questions, getting answers,

We’ve got brainiacs, drinkers, singers, and dancers.

The local neighbors and after-work stayers,

the history buffs and sports-ball-players.

We gather for trivia, we gather for fun,

and when it comes down to it, everybody won.

At the end of the night, we’ve all done our best,

time to go home and get some rest!

Hell yeah! That’s what I have to say about tonight! Off the rip, the bar was packed and every last one of them was here to play trivia. We had 100% participation and it was a seriously stellar vibe start to finish. Being in Seattle, the Black Filmmakers question was difficult for a lot of folks, but that was FANTASTIC because they found out about some movies they'd never heard of and I was able to make recommendations. The game went by so quickly because everyone was engaged and ready to answer questions. I also received some feedback that this was the favorite roundup of questions thus far. All in all, great night! 

QUIZ RECAP

Today’s game was a blasty blast. It’s a pleasure getting to know regulars and remember their team names before they even enter them! Tonight we had a new team and one of their players has the same name as my fur baby - Dr. Watson! The human one is decidedly more proficient at trivia, however, which was proven by their team’s 3rd place win. Our frequent fliers, Clarkies and the BLANK (the BLANK changes every week to fit a theme which is fun) took home the win this evening after being squeezed out for 1st last week by the underdogs.  Team Front Bottoms usually leaves early, but stayed for the whole game this evening, which was awesome. All in all, it was a wonderful evening with a fantastic turnout.
