QUIZ RECAP

The rounds tonight began a little slowly as no teams exercised their double or nothing powers and simply traded points back and forth. However after the third round the ale-ducators took a small lead with a double down and continued to lead the way into the later rounds. The Guess Who round stumped most teams until the 4 point clue was revealed. In round 6, on the heels of a well timed double down team what the ligma? took the lead into the last round and hung on for the win because who really knows the 13 richest people in the world?  Answer:  no one here!  So congrats to what the ligma? for their victory and to ale-ducators for wrapping up a 2nd place finish. 

Congrats to Baldy Crew for coming closest to guessing the population of Sapporo, Japan and taking home the free beer!

QUIZ RECAP

On this edition of King Trivia at Last Name Brewery we had some new teams and some veterans squaring off. The vets FUNK WAGNALLS took an early lead after a successful double down, but an unsuccessful one the next round allowed so,e other teams to take over.  But it was newcomer Chicas Ricas who grabbed a lead and held onto it, albeit by slim margins as we headed into the late rounds. However Khaki Club had a sneaky double down in Round 6 to grab the lead and hold on for the win! Congrats to Double Bubble Toil and Trivia for a strong second place and to Chicas Ricas for winning the tie-breaker and taking third place.

For the drinking round we celebrated National Architecture day by playing a monument survivor game. Each team sent up a rep and we played guess the monument until we had a winner.  Congrats to Chicas Ricas for outlasting all other teams for the free beer!

QUIZ RECAP

Last night the teams brought out their competetive sides, as well as some friendly banter, as 'diddy's baby oil salesmen', 'just this once no simpons reference' and 'funky wagnalls' duked it out for the top spot. Each round brought a surprise as scores fluctauted....keeping our top few teams on their toes. Two of last night's teams, 'funky wagnalls' and 'diddy's baby oil salesmen' have been playing against each other for 6 years, which is where the friendly banter came in. It was all good natured competition as 'diddy's' took the top spot, besting their long standing competitors last night.

For the drink round, we played a little word game with Team Won making 23 words (3 letters or more) out of 'Last Name Brewing' in just 60 seconds.

It was my second Monday in a row guest hosting as Last Name Brewing, and I always have a great time with the teams and awesome Beertenders!
