QUIZ RECAP

There were best kisses matching, famous Sams and lots of other movie based knowledge tonight at Last Name Brewing. There were also a ton of teams that held the top spot!  Four different teams were #1 at any given point until the Losers (NOT living up to their name!) took the lead and then doubled down in Round 6 all but daring teams to make a last round run. And they all fell short as the Losers topped the tables tonight.

In other news the drinking round was captured by Dazed and Confused as they were able to come to guessing the year that Levi Strauss added copper rivets to their jeans (1873, incidentally).  Happy Levi Strauss day everyone!

FRIENDS THEMED EVENT AT LAST NAME BREWING RECAP

It was Friends themed trivia night here at Last Name Brewing! Lots of excitement at the beginning as 11 teams lined up to square off.  Halfway through the rounds the Friends of the Friendless had a slim lead.  They were overtaken by Mrs. Chanandler Bong for a round and then the Banana Hammocks doubled down in Round 6 to snatch the lead away and they hung in the last round for the victory.  Meanwhile for the drinking round we had ourselves a good old fashioned lightning round where all 11 teams faced off to answer rapid fire questions with whiteboards.  The Edjuh Macayders gave the most right answers and won some beer.

QUIZ RECAP

It was double down madness tonight!!  Multiple teams doubled down multiple times - some very unsuccessfully and others very successfully.  The lead changed quite a few times until the last three rounds when Mad Mad Mad Mad World - you guessed it- doubled down successfully and took the lead and hung on til the end to claim the $30 gift card.  Meanwhile in our drinking round we had a tie and had to go to a runoff.  The Babysitter Called got the beer while the Edjuh Macayders took home a special jar of sour patch kids.  Join us next week for a themed night for Friends!  Could you BE more excited?!
