Whomever said binge-watching was bad for you, didn't have a trivia game to win this week!

In Round 1, last week's champs, Flag Hags started the night off strong getting all 6 correct answers!

But scores soared in Round 2 as three teams, put that binge-watching and the Double-or-Nothing option to good use! After two rounds, Flag Hags, Lime Skittles and newcomers We Can Make It If We Try separated themselves from the pack.

Round 3 brought our points leaders back down to earth, while others were able to gain some ground. The only ladies in the bar, N2, correctly answered five of the six questions related to women's suffrage/jungle cats.

As Oscar Wilde said, "With age, comes wisdom..." and that couldn't have been more true in Round 4. Lumber Yard Boys took a big risk, turning in their guess at the 10 point clues - and missed the mark! Patiently waiting more a little more information, Lime Skittles held back to hear the 8 point clue and it paid off! Purty Mouth, tripped-up by the clue, "highest paid actress of the 1990s, incorrectly guessed Meg Ryan and lost a point. And the youngest team in the game, El Dude Brothers, had almost no idea who Demi Moore is and missed out on getting any points in this round.

Heading into Round 5, Lime Skittles and Flag Hags were tied at the top, with We Can Make It If We Try trailing closely behind. As ever, the need to "find the connection" threw teams for a loop and no team could catch a "star."

Round 6 again rewarded the binge watchers and saw teams go back to Double-or-Nothing for a late-game advantage. Though some teams seemed to confuse Barney Stinson and Bart Simpson, our pack leaders Lime Skittles, Flag Hags and We Can Make It If We Try knew the difference and scored 20 points!

Finally, you needed to be Keeping Up With the Billionaires and reality TV to succeed in our final round. Teams had to name all 10 (yep, 10) biological children of both Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Kardashian Jenner (separately and together). N2 tried to put themselves in contention for the winner's podium with the Double-or-Nothing, but could only identify 7 correct answers.

In the end, Lime Skittles found their way back to the top spot with a total of 71 points! Flag Hags, finished in 2nd with 68 points, and We Can Make It If We Try came in 3rd with 65.

Thanks for another great night Lumber Yard fam! See you again next week - same time, same place!

If you don't go Double-or-Nothing, do you even trivia, bro?

In round 1, Flag Hags, winners from last week, secured 12 points right out of the gates!

Round 2 asked teams to name 8 different NFL quarterbacks. Yep - more sportsball, Lumber Yard fam! 🙂 While no team could name every QB, Lime Skittles and Drunken Love gained on the points leader with 6 and 7 correct answers, respectively.

It was all about the "W" in round 3 - each answer contained three of them. Three of our teams got all of the answers correctly - but none were confident enough to use the Double-or-Nothing option this time around.

Round 4 took us back to the 1990's with clues describing beloved TV sidekick, George Costanza. Lime Skittles answered first, but waited until the 8 point round just to be sure, followed by Tequila Mockingbirds and Flag Hags with 6 points. Bend Over, Stay Down lost a point on the round thinking I was talking about Jerry, rather than his best bud.

As always, round 5 (my fav) asked our teams to find the connection among all of the answers in the round. Bend Over, Stay Down and Lime Skittles got it! All answers were people with the last name, Williams!

With scores close heading to the final two rounds - teams looked to the double-or-nothing option to make or break their night.

In round 6, Both Lime Skittles and Bend Over, Stay Down correctly matched all Best Picture Oscar winners to their decade to snag 20 points!

But in the end (round 7), Flag Hags were able to come from behind to overtake Lime Skittles for a second win in a row, with 64 points! Lime Skittles finished in second place with 62 points! Bend Over, Stay Down came in third with 61 points (a lesson in why everyone should register their team names).

Thank you to all the players that came out this week! See everyone next week - same time, same place!

Hey King Trivia @ the Lumber Yard bar fam! What a great night!

Lime Skittles and Flag Hags were back in the house in hopes of continuing their trivia dominance! And two new teams, Shal'eta Buffet and Lumber Yard Boys joined the fun!

Round 1 put our teams' general knowledge to the test with questions ranging across entertainment (both stateside and abroad), history, gaming and French facts! And with that, Flag Hags took the lead with a clean sweep of 6 correct answers to start the night!

For round 2, teams found themselves having to identify 8 different purple characters. Flag Hags again had a perfect round, but Lime Skittles closed the gap, getting all but one of the characters right.

My bologna has a name... in round 3, questions and answers were all about Oscars and Meyers. Each team scored 4 points in this round keeping the score close heading into the half-way mark!

Game of Thrones must still be on everyone's mind because as soon as I gave the first clues of round 4, two teams - Flag Hags and Shal'eta Buffet - knew I was talking about Tyrion Lannister and snatched up 10 points for the round! Lumber Yard Boys were right behind them with 8 points after correctly naming the Lord of Casterly Rock after the second clue! Unfortunately, Lime Skittles could not remember our character's first name and lost a point.

Heading into round 5, the scores were close, but Flag Hags were holding their lead.

In this round, teams did well answering the first 9 questions, but no team was able to identify "Tiger," "Great White," "Milky," "Card," and others as types of sharks!

It was round 6 where the Flag Hags pulled ahead of the pack with a well-timed use of the Double-or-Nothing option and correctly connecting all of the literary heroes with their authors!

Bringing us to the final round, each team needed to take some risks to find a spot in the night's top 3. This round put our teams' men's World Cup (that's sportsball, right?) knowledge to the test. In an attempt to make an epic comeback and win back-to-back weeks, Lime Skittles went for the Double-or-Nothing but fell just short of the goal line and ended up with 0 points for the round.

In the end, we crowned new champions this week after Flag Hags pulled in a whopping 66 points! Newcomers Shal'eta Buffet finished in second and Lumber Yard Boys placed third.

Huge thanks to all who joined us this week! We're back at it next week - Tuesday at 8 pm! See you then!
