This game came right down to the wire with a final double or nothing paying off for the Hot Pockets!

Early in the game, the Lime Skittles had the lead with their double or nothing but then failed to convert on the clue round and missed another double or nothing by one question! The Flag Hags were able to take advantage and went out to a commanding lead. However, the Hot Pockets shocked everyone at the end. Down 72-64 going into the final round, the Hot Pockets went double or nothing and even though the Flag Hags got a perfect 9 for the round, the Hot Pockets were able to take the lead and the win by getting 18 points. Final score Hot Pockets 82 - Flag Hags 81. A great night of trivia, to be sure!

What an exciting start to the game! Early on in R2 we had Hot Pockets and Lime Skittles risk it all with double or nothing in our picture round and lose it all. These players knew their statues, but every team struck out guessing Laura Ingalls Wilder for Jane Austen! So close! Team Awesome and Flag Hags topped the round with 14pts each, but Flag Hags quickly secured the lead with 20pts in R3.
Team Awesome took a hit in our Guess the Name Round! They fell into last place with 17pts while Team Foreskin caught up with 22. Everyone guessed the name pretty quickly, bringing all other scores to 21 or 22, but Flag Hags held strong to the lead with 28pts. In R5 nearly everyone found the connection with awards, and R6 proved everyone at The Lumberyard must only eat exceptionally healthy as we all struggled to match the fast food drinks! Lime Skittles dominated R7, and while it wasn't enough to knock Flag Hags out of the lead, it was just enough to squeak into our top 3 and demand a tie breaker! Lime Skittles snuck past Hot Pockets to secure 2nd place by a single point over them despite two strike outs with double or nothing. Flag Hags annihilated the night and finished on top of the world with an 8pt lead!
