We set a record tonight at LvlUpRoar. A total of 16 teams played tonight!! We really got something special going on here! What a game it was. Regulars Houskey, Red Lantern, and Win and Go Home were holding court the entire match looking like they were going to secure the top 3 spots. But in the final round team "Keep our teams name out your F'In Mouths" had a great double in the final round bumping Red Lantern out of the top 3 and securing the space for themself along with a $10 giftcard. In second place tonight we had the one man wrecking crew Houskey, playing a solid game. Our first place finisher tonight were local favorites "Win and Go Home" who not only played a solid game all night, locked it in with a final round double. Thanks for playing everyone!

I love shows like these. A show where a team that has never played before, just shows up and just crushes it! That is exactly what happened tonight with team "Ren and Stimpy Double ended." An early first-round double gave them a lead they never looked back on. And then, a round 6 double solidified an untakeable score. Closely on their tail was "Red Lantern" "Fat Kyle and The Boys" and "The Ungraceful Louts." Red Lantern was able to get into a comfortable second place, winning a $15 gift card. However the other two teams were so neck and neck, they were separated by only one point going into the final round. Fortunately for Fat kyle, they knew more about newspaper publications than the louts, so they were able to grab a very narrow victory for 3rd place. Thanks for playing!

Such a fun show tonight! However, this is usually the part where I say the competition for first place was close, but it was not. Houskey put on a dominating performance tonight, grabbed the lead in the first round, and did not look back. Ending with a score of 80 points (90 if he wanted) the solo team grabbed first place and a $25 giftcard. However there was a nice back and forth for 2nd and 3rd. Red Lantern, Fat Kyle, and Win and Go Home were all back and forth. A round 5 double for Fat Kyle and Red Lantern got them comfortably in 2nd and 3rd, however going for the gold Red lantern had an attempted doubled in round 6, and missed. This dropped them to 4th place and let Win and Go Home sneak into the 3rd place spot. Can't wait for next week!
