It was the homecoming show for beloved host Kyle, who had spent the last two weeks fighting bad guys in the Florida Keys. What a show it was! This was the most "neck and neck" contest I have ever called before. Fat Kyle got off to a strong start with two consecutive doubles in rounds 1 and 2. However, Red lantern came out of the gate strong as well and they were able to grab the lead in round 5 with a successful double. Determined to not slow down they kept that momentum going and had another successful double in the following round giving them a 12 point lead heading into the finals. Heavy is the head that wears the crown, the faster your up the faster your down. Wanting to pat their lead, Red Lantern felt confident enough to go for the double in the final round. However, accidentally answering "Albuquerque" instead of "Santa Fe" for New Mexico's state capital cost them all of their potential round 7 points leaving them at 70. Fat Kyle still needed a successful double to win and in the nick of time were able to submit 9 correct answers giving them 18 points in the final round a 76 points total. "Win and go home" also played a very strong game ending with 51 points and the third-place spot. Thanks everyone for playing!

Another fun night of Wednesday night trivia at LVL Uproar! We had eight teams compete in the thanksgiving eve game. All players were up for a challenge-and maybe want to take a trip to Disney's Epcot now. Congratulations to Housekey for taking first, Ask My Balls (which elicited a chuckle every time their team name was a announced) for coming in second and last weeks victor lose and go home for coming in third. Congratulations everyone! Now go eat some turkey.

What a fun night! Close one too. It was neck and neck with Red Lantern and Win and Go Home all night. However, Win and Go Home came out as victor after skillfully doubling their score in the last round. It all came down to generational knowledge Red Lantern informed me as I handed them their second place winnings. There were cheers and delight plus a few "I told you so's" after we read out the answers for each round. Congratulations Win and Go Home for first place, Red Lantern for second and one man team Housekey for third. Ultimately the night was a success and a blast.
