Six amazing teams showed up for trivia this Wednesday night at LVL Uproar. Our teams battled for it out tooth and nail for victory. It was a tough game and the winner all came down to a tie breaker. In round one we all tested our spelling of Hanukkah (or is it Chanukah). Round 3 there was a trivia faux pas and we all got succession--but most teams said they already knew that. In round five all the teams assured the quiz master that Die Hard is in fact a Christmas movie. Round seven most teams out Virgin Airlines down as a top "US" airline. Guess we all didn't see Richard Branson in a the news a few months ago. With all that being said, congratulations to Ask my Balls for winning the tie breaker and earning the crown of the first one lace gift card, Fat Kyle and the Boys closely behind in second and Bronco Buddies for enjoying things in "three" coming in third place.

Another amazing evening in beautiful downtown San Jose. We had a record number of teams this evening with 11. The questions were tough and the competition was tougher! For the first time ever, we did not have any successful doubles until round number 5, so even tho we had so many teams, it was anyone's game! However, in their usual fashion Red Lantern (Gingerbread Lantern) had a successful double in round number 5, but so did team Win and Go Home, which gave them a small lead into the following round. Knowing the competition was going to be close, they both went for the double in round number 6 and hit it! So did team Wendy Williams which catapulted them into 3rd place. With a 4 point lead going into the finals "Win and go Home" was able to successfully name as many characters from the movie "Love Actually" which allowed them to officially win and go home, with a $25 gift card. $15 for Red Lantern and $10 for Wendy Williams. Great job everyone!

Another Wednesday, another handful of fun! Host Kyle continues to reign supreme over Wednesday night trivia on First Street in downtown San Jose. As usual, Red Lantern (Red and Green Lantern) got off to a fast start, and well, didn't look back. With a successful double in four different rounds, they ended up with a massive score of 86 points. However, the hustle and bustle for 2nd and 3rd place was a close race! Fat Kyle, Housekey, win and go home, all had very strong rounds 1, 2 & 3, however, Fat Kyle missed the guess who in round 4 and began to sink to the bottom of the ocean. A strong back and forth contest continued between Housekey and Win & Go Home, however, Houskey was able to squeak out a narrow 3 point lead for 2nd place. I also got a Jello-shot! Fun was had all around. See you next week!!!
