QUIZ RECAP

It was veteran status at Ravenna tonight! All 8 teams were no strangers to Trivia Night and came out to play fully loaded. Three teams won a first-round double-or-nothing, in addition to their 2 bonus points, so 14 points is definitely a sweet way to start the game! The winners of the night-- The Very Stable Geniuses, (not to be confused with the TOTALLY Stable Geniuses, yes 2 different teams) -- maintained their elite status throughout by holding onto their lead all 9 rounds. "Best Team Name of the Night" was awarded to My Greatest Asset Is Being, Like, Really Good at Trivia-- because, despite their name, ended up coming in last place. Oh the irony! Full house tonight at Ravenna and lots of energy! Thank you all for coming out on this crazy rainy day!

QUIZ RECAP

On a cold, clear night on the second day of the new year, 9 teams ventured out to Ravenna Brewing to engage in fun and frolic.  There was laughter,  joy and lots of beer!  And the Tuk Tuk food truck just outside.

For the first few rounds, the teams were bunched up within a few points of each other, then about halfway through,  4 teams began to separate from the pack.  "Still Hungover" scored a double 10 in Round 5, followed by a perfect 10 in Round 6 to run away with first place with 61 points.  That left "Ansel #5", "Growler, I hardly know her", and "It's not the size of the button, it's how you press it." At the end of Round 7, "Ansel #5" grabbed second place by one point with a total of 46, and both "Growler" and "Button" tied with 45. The tiebreaker was extremely close as well,  with "Growler" missing by 22 and "Button" by 29, giving third prize to "Growler".  The winner of the free schooners of beer for the best team name went to "New beer, same you. "

QUIZ RECAP

It was a chilly night, with remnants of snow still sticking to chilly outdoor tabletops. Inside was a much different atmosphere with warm friendly vibes from behind the bar and from patrons alike. It was trivia night of course, and that alway brings about a certain kind of cheer that not even Christmas can match.

In out little game tonight was a team of first-timers "Santa's Beard Trimmings" coming in first with a respectable 43 points. In second was "The Glorious Grinches" with 35 points. Pulling up the rear of our leaders was "Where Is Everyone?" who finished just ahead of "Zenith" with 25 points and a tie-breaker.

It was another great night at this wonderful brewery and we hope to see you next time. Tuesdays at 7:00pm!!!
