QUIZ RECAP
We started out with a big crowd again for King Trivia at Pitcher House... even though the Dodgers played early in the afternoon!
Round 2: Teams were asked to identify which Elvis hits are being represented by 8 images. (Picture 2: Elvis's song called "Burning Love")
Round 4: In tonight's 'Guess Who?' round, we learned all about Robert E. Lee. His father was known as 'Light-Horse Harry' and he himself married George Washington's grand-daughter... interesting!
Co-owner Jimmy provided a Bud Light mirror and a Bud Light chalkboard to give away for a challenge round! I gave each team two minutes to see who could write down the most NCAA Division I football/basketball teams whose mascots do not end with the letter 'S'. The example I provided was Massachusetts Minutemen.
Team 'Lost Car Keys' and team 'Blinded By Eclipse' both got an impressive 10, including Nevada Wolf Pack, Illinois Fighting Illini, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. (Honorable mention to team 'North Remembers' and team 'King Rio' for getting 9 correct!)
Round 7: Teams were asked to name the 10 most commonly eaten fruits in the U.S., according to the USDA. Blueberries, cherries, and pears were NOT on this list!

Round 3 was fun: Teams were asked to identify the American films after hearing their foreign translations. In Russia, "Silver Linings Playbook" is called "My Boyfriend is a Psycho." In Japan, "Army of Darkness" is called "Captain Supermarket."
Round 4: Tonight's Guess Who round was all about Ridley Scott. Many of us didn't know he was from England!
Team Rio Tailgate separated themselves from the rest of the pack during Round 6, which was all about units of measurement.
