Hide your mamas underwear! the British are coming, the British are coming over to be mother!!!

Tonights quiz was sprinkled with those wacky British people. With their funny accents, affection for cross dressing, and strange ways of asking you simple things.

Round 1

One of tonights question which had the entire room scratching their heads.

If a British guy asks “Shall I be mother?”  What is he offering?
He is not offering anything you may find in the Craigslist "Casual Encounters" section. He is simply offering to pour some tea.

Why can't they just say "Hey would you like some tea" makes zero sense.

Round 2

ID the celebrities with beards.
One thing we as Americans know is our bearded men. Bearded men who enjoys a good IPA and tossing back a few Moscow mules. Why we even knew the bearded British guy.

Round 5

Another British guy! that old dick Sherlock Holmes.

Also we learned there are a lot of  Jerry Rafferty fans at the Pitcher House. Who the hell is Gene Rafferty?

Round 6 and 7

Zero British people in it.

First week of the NFL was underway before trivia began.  If you come in for trivia night at Pitcher House, don't be afraid to stick around until the final whistle of Thursday Night Football, because seats will open up for you!

Round 3:  All about snakes.  Most of us learned there are no snakes in the state of Hawaii.  Really?  None of them ever made it to the islands by ship?  Perhaps they've got a good mongoose population?

Round 4:  University of Florida grad Ryan Lochte may have even less fans after the 'Guess the Famous Name' round when several teams went with Tim Tebow on the 10-pt clue.

3rd place team ("Code Name:  Duchess") posed for a pic after 2 hours of wracking their brains towards a bar gift-certificate!

Everyone seemed to be excited heading into the Labor Day weekend.  Pitcher House became packed as Trivia got started.

Round 1:  It would have paid off to have signed up for the Newsletter, as there were points to be had if not for that tough 6th question.  United Arab Emirates is a pretty long sequence of alternating consonates and vowels for a country.

Round 4:  Ivanka Trump's father creepily stole the show from her during this week's "Guess the Famous Name" Round.

Round 7:  With Labor Day coming up, we decided to play 10 songs all having to do with WORKING.  Everybody's heard the Loverboy song, but not many people can name the band!
