Dicks and First Round Picks!

One thing we know after last night quiz is we know more about first round picks than we did dicks.

Round 6

First round draft picks. The people of Pitcher house know or thought they knew their first round picks. Like so many fantasy football players, they put their trust in Eli Manning. And Eli did what he does every week he disappoints like a lake in Australia. Eli was originally drafted by the Chargers until he threatened to sit out 2004 season then his daddy stepped in and he was sent to the Giants. Surprisingly John Elway  was in a similar situation where he threatened to go to the MLB Yankees! until his daddy also stepped in.

Wow the people are back and they are alive! What a difference a week makes. Full house at the Pitcher House and what a fun night it was.

Round 1

Workers removed 600 pounds of gum!  bird poop was the top answer which is a good guess. Now where all that gum was hiding I would say probably between her toes. 😀

Round 2

Identify these comic strips this is one of the round where it helped having an older team member specifically if they read or use to read comic strips.

Round 3

"Water Man!" - UFO Guy (Look him up on You Tube)

Sleet was a much debated answer on this round luckily we had a meteorologist in the house to explain sleet and graupel. I had never heard of such a thing as graupel but as with all our quizzes you walk away learning a thing or two.

Round 4

How much easier could this one get when on the third clue I played a Will Smith song. Some teams caught on others did not and got it on the next round.  Fun fact Will turned down the roll of Neo in the Matrix... DOH!

This was a good curve ball right here "What No Pokemon? was said by a lot of teams. And by looking at the answers we are still stuck on Candy Crush and Angry Birds. Very surprising Uber, Tinder and Grinder were not on the list

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORDS COMING OUTTA MY MOUTH?" - Smokey

I think a lot of people were out on vacation physically and mentally and that led to a strange night. Tonights quiz felt like I was speaking in a different language all night. It seemed people had that "WTF look"all night on their faces after I read every question.

A Bat is the smallest mammal! DOH we forgot about those guys.

Lucille Ball? REALLY? I would like to see the photo that statue is based off of. Some good guesses Mohammad Ali, Cezar Chavez, James Brown, Jack Daniels

All I have written down for round 3 was.. "Note to self there are no whale fans in attendance"

We had some Star Trek fans most teams got this in the 6 and 4 point question area.

The first question was a good indicator of where this round was going. Who knew not only the correct answer but also Tru Tv has actual programming? Nobody!

I almost got taken outside by asking this one. You see The Pitcher House crowd doesn't like questions about musicals best picture awards or any type of award outside of the Super Bowl, World Series or Stanley Cup
