This week at The Press...
What a fun group of people who joined us this week. Many people excited for summer nights and enjoying the ambiance of The Press.
Direwolf this week broke off into 2 teams to make for more teams and we were thankful for that. Both teams did take 1st and second but I watched them like hawks to make sure there were no sharing of answers between the teams, and the scores definitely reflected that. It was fun to see them go head to head.
For the Beer Round I asked "according to the Guinness book of world, in gallons, what is the largest alcoholic mixed drink?" Let me just say most people said 10gallons it was actually 249 gallons. Baba Guh Noosh took the beer round with a guess with 169.
The teams rocked the guess who round with most of them getting it at the 8point clue. We had some Seinfeld fanatics who said they were bummed cause they knew it with the 10 point clue but wasnt sure.

This week at The Press...
We definitely felt the summer vacay mode. A lot of teams missing this week but that didnt stop us from having a good time.
This week every team showed their strengths in different rounds with great double downs. With the guess who round most got it on the first clue so we have either some GOT fans or the Lannisters have a few debts to pay.
The beer round this week, we played blind pictionary. Each team picked 2 people to play I gave 1 member the item to draw and they had to do it with their eyes closed. We had 2 teams tie on the first go of "Elephant" so they went head to head and tied yet again on "Rooster" so one last attempt with "Police Car" and the ? Breakers took the win. Some of those drawings were hilarious.
This week Lady and The Tramp Stamps took the win by 1 point and doubling down correctly in the last round. Congrats Tramp Stamps you did it.

This week at The Press...
What a great week at The Press, seeing some returning teams that have been absent for a few weeks.
Round 5, the Find the Connection round, seemed to be a bit hard for all teams. The teams didnt score more than 6 points in round 5 but everyone made it up in round 6 with some and almost perfect scores.
For the beer round this week, we played "Adult Heads Up". Each team had 1 min to get one of their teammates to guess the answers by giving clues and gestures. We had a tie between Lady and the Tramp Stamps and The 3hree Cabelleros so we has each team give 1 guesser and 1 clue giver and they battled it going head to head. Lady and the Tramp Stamps proved to be a bit dirty/naughty with the clues and gestures but it helped them take the win. Some of the words/phrases included things like crotch rocker, lady garden, peanut gallery, Thanksgiving pants and these were some of the not so adult ones lol.
Every week here at The Press continues to be fun and always have new memories.
