Brewyard Beer Co. is a new Craft Brewery & Taproom in Glendale, CA. We specialize in Californian "Aled" Lagers. The most well known of this hybrid style is the California Common (A.K.A Steam Beer). We offer 8 of these hybrid beers currently: Soul Cal (California Common), Imposter Syndrome (India Pale Ale'd Lager), Black Sunrise (Black Ale'd Lager), The Smoking Redhead (Smoked Irish Red Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning (Pale Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning Joe (Ethiopia Yirgecheffe Coffee infused Pale Ale'd Lager) & Perky DIPL (Double India Pale Ale'd Lager). We also have a very popular Saison brewed with Passion Fruit, A Basil Belgian Single and a Belgian Dubbel.

What a fun and delightful evening of trivia competition tonight at The Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank.

Ten enthusiastic teams engaged in battle, and when the dust settled, The John Wilkes Bluth Company reigned supreme. It's the stuff dreams are made of.

And speaking of dreams, tonight's decisive final round asked players to identify the top ten things people surveyed said the dream about. Many of the answers were what you might expect. Flying. Falling. Death.

But we noted with amusement the large number of teams who cited being naked in public as a frequent topics of their slumber. And public speaking, of course, which this quizmaster has a fondness for.

Trivia. It's all about what you know — what you don't know — and what you know you know but just can't quite squeeze out of your brain.

Who knew, for example, that some vampires are vegetarians? (And how does that even work, exactly?) Gotta read Twilight, I suppose.

And who knew that Pepsi was originally called "Brad's Drink"? Or that Snapchat was originally called "Picaboo"?

Turns out, quite a few quizinators knew all that and more tonight. Especially Here For the Beer and La Quiz a Nostra, our top two teams this week. They finished up with just two points separating them. Ah, competition! I just love it.
