Happy Monday and happy anniversary Busby's West! Crazy, right? It has been a year since we started playing King Trivia Mondays again and what a better way to celebrate than to play King Trivia with the best patrons on Earth!
Whiskey Business leveled up this week, they meddled at the top of the scoreboard all seven rounds, to finish in third place with 56 points. No Pants Party first snatched the Drink Round with the closest answer, then came in second place with 69 points. Which was just one point shy away from first. Shake a fist at Round Four, that it was then that they fell behind a point, but hopefully two wins for the night makes up for that. Black n' Red used their blue koopa shell around Round Five and granted them the lead, claiming first place with 70 points.

It's Mondaaay! You bet we played our King Trivia at Busby's West, it's what we do!
Let's start with the Drink Round winners Whiskey Business who guessed the closest without going over, but get this, they were about to submit a bullseye answer when instead they talked their teammate out of it. They still won! Goes to show, when you're meant to win, you win [wink!]. By the end of the seven rounds, Win or Booze landed in third place after duking it out on the tie-breaker round. The tie of 61 points was bested by The Night Terrors and received second place. In first place the mighty duo Chili Heads dominated the game and finished with the highest score of 71 points. Congratulations, everyone!
Only three tacos for me tonight please, thank you. How about you? Don't worry, I'm not counting. I'll meet you back here next Monday, more questions, prizes, and tacos, TTFN!

No sport will stop us from our favorite brain sport; the teams and I are more than happy to wait until MNF is over to get our King Trivia on at Busby's West!
First off, congrats to The Effs, who guessed the closest answer for the Drink Round and earned themselves some drinks. By the end of our seven rounds, we found ourselves with a tie at the very top. No Pants Party had a rough start, but regained focus and kept a steady pace until their double or nothing on Round Five gave them a boost to finish in third place with 52 points. Once the tie of 58 points was settled between the top two teams, You’re a Towel who had kept the lead the entire game came in second place. Ian Survivors played as such as a slow start and flat tire on Round Four did not affect them one bit. Round Five, bam, double or nothing. Round Seven, bam-bam, double or nothing again, and then the blue koopa shell at the tie-breaker came out, giving them the first place title! Sheesh, such a tight competition tonight! Congratulation, everyone!
