QUIZ RECAP

On this Monday night's episode of King Trivia at Busby's West, we witnessed a dramatic comeback, teams defend their title, and new challengers attempt to claim their stake. With seven teams joining us for the fun, this is how the top of the scoreboard turned out. Like a citadel, No Pants Party kept the rest out of reach of the third place title, with a strong 59 points, and earned a $10 GC for their next visit. Quartz, first time playing, started off a little shy. Suddenly, Round Three, their sleeves are rolled up, and bam, they double down! They kept the same momentun the rest of the game, elbowing their way through to the second place. With their final score of 67 points, Quartz were awarded a $20 GC to Busby's for their great accomplishment. The Orlando's Bloomers made up for their absence last week, and with a whopping score of 76, they dominated first place and received the $30 GC for next time.

Happy November everyone, thank you for joining us at the start of a new week and month for a fun night of King Trivia at Busby's West. New and returning teams showed up for a chance at the prizes, and we finished with ridiculously close scores. No Pants Party came back to climb higher but at least defended their title after last week. They finished in third place with 69 points, and earned a $10 GC for their next visit. Only one point ahead, with 70 points, teams Filet Mignon and Gazpacho were tied, and Round Eight was unleashed to settle the score. Would you believe they tied again? They guessed the same answer, so after a second refreshed attempt, the tie was finally broken. Gazpacho, visiting us from their regular spot in the Valley, guessed the closest answer, won first place and snatched the $30 GC. Good collateral to have Gazpacho come visit and honor us with their presence again another Monday night in the future. Filet Mignon came in second place after the tie break, and received a $20 GC. Big time kudos to Filet Mignon, they tied with a team of seven players, and hopped right over the heads of No Pants Party, and kept them in third place for the second week in a row.

It gets real here at Busby's, competetive, but good sportsmanship all the way! I can't wait to see what our teams bring next Monday. Thank you all again for playing, please join us next week!

Happy last spooky Monday of October! Nine teams joined us this week for King Trivia at Busby's West, no tricks, all treats, a fun night of trivia was served. It was great to see teams play for their first time, or return to defend their titles. It was a pretty close finish considering strategy, and it was hard to tell who was going to claim the prizes. No Pants Party was able to regain control of the steering wheel after a couple of tough curbs during Rounds Three and Four. They doubled down on Rounds Six and Seven and that landed them in third place with 61 points, three points ahead of Camp Fakas who came really close until Round Seven spun them off, and No Pants Party snuck through and snatched the $10 GC. The Orlando's Bloomers were not foolin' around this week. They played it safe, and with a high score of 79, they claimed second place and won a $20 GC. With just three points ahead, and an impressive score of 82 points, Team Daniel Reunion took the lead in the end and earned the $30 GC for coming in first place. They kept a steady stride and it felt like right before the finish line they busted out the blue shell and knocked Orlando's Bloomers out of the lead. 

The loyal community at Busby's make it the most interesting and fun night of King Trivia, I can't wait to see what happens next week. Thank you to all teams and their players, congratulations, please join us again next Monday!
