Check off the calendar the first Monday of June, we're halfway through the year! We kicked it off at Busby's West and gathered for our King Trivia fix. With eight teams on the scoreboard, here are the final results.
On the Podium made a lovely return after not seeing them for a minute, by coming in third place after the tie-breaker round. The tie of 51 points was broken by Win or Booze who ended up in second place. Trivial Pursuit of That Ass kept the lead the entire game until Round Six that they doubled down, they clinched it and claimed the first place title with the highest score of the night, 60 points. Ronnie Bon was the lucky winner of a Rick and Morty coffee mug when they guessed the closest answer on the bonus Something to Put a Drink In Round. Congratulations to all, cheers!

Happy Memorial Holiday! We spent our last Monday night in the month of May, palying King Trivia at Busby's West.
Rule number three, as you know, Quizmaster is always right. Tonight, I awarded third place to Fisty Fynleys, who although finished two points ahead of second place, had to leave early. A very well earned $10 GC was given to them along with the third place title. Second place and a $20 GC went to The Newbys, who hung in there all the way through, well done nooobs! No Pants Party dominated the night with 57 points and received the $30 GC for coming in first place. OOOooo! they also won a Spider Man sporty bottle for the Something to Put a Drink In Round!

One great way to start your week is to meet me at Busby's West on Mondays for a good dose of King Trivia. Enjoy a little drinkin' while you're thinkin'! Nine teams did just so, here's how the game ended.
The Shoe-Ins, first off, chose the perfect name for their team, because they really were confindent right off the bat doubling down, winning seemingly easy to them. They finished in third place with 73 points, just one point behind second, and were awarded the $10 GC. Awesome Possums played stratigically as well, and earned the second place prize, $20 GC, with 74 points. It was Round Four when Can I Get a Hot Tub?!? heard the call and BAM-BAM-BAM! nailed the right answer on the first clue, then double or nothing Rounds Five and Six, pushing them to the very top. With a total of 82 whopping points, Can I Get a Hot Tub?!? received the first place prize, $30 GC, the hot tub is on its way! On our bonus Something to Put a Drink In Round, a beautiful Disney Princesses jug was chosen by the team with closest answer, Win or Booze.
