QUIZ RECAP

'Tis the last Monday and four fantastic teams joined us at Busby's West for King Trivia to close out the year. Thank you to everyone for playing, including team Atreyu who wasn't able to finish their game, not sure why, something about their horse... Team Gazpacho joined us again and took two wins with their closest answer on the Something to Put a Drink In Round and third place with a final score of 55 points. For their success they received a Bob's Burgers coffee mug and a $10 GC. Hear-hear, Long Live Busby’s East and cheers to their second place win! Their outstanding score of 80 points earned them a $20 GC. Finally, who better to win first place on this last King Trivia game of the year, than Busby's most loyal returning team, Orlando's Bloomers? With a blazing 90 points they won first place and were awarded a $30 GC.

It's Monday night, meet me Busby's for King Trivia! Beware, it is where champions dwell. Loyal King Trivia teams like to gather here, this Monday was no exception. Seven teams joined us for seven rounds, as well as a new bonus round, Something to Put Your Drink In Round! 

The WINOs got a good taste of the leaderboard the last time they joined us. This week they made it back to the top, and with 59 points, took the third place, earning a $10 GC. With a high score of 76 points, Agents of the Zeitgeist with their best effort, came in second place, which comes with a $20 GC. They were bested by Certified Tuna Can, who just three points ahead won the game with 79 points, and were awarded the $30 GC. In lieu of a Drink Round, I introduce you to a Something to Put Your Drink In Round, that wins you a specialty glass or mug, gifted by yours truly. In honor of the holiday season, team Butts was bestowed a Nightmare Before Christmas coffee mug for guessing the closest answer without going over. Cheers and congratulations to everyone!

QUIZ RECAP

The rain stopped just in time for a lucky-seven teams to join us this Monday night for King Trivia at Busby's West. Orlando's Bloomers have been patient coming in second place the past couple weeks, but they made it back to the top. They reclaimed their first place title with a total of 69 points and earned the epic $30 GC. Just three points behind them in second place, was No Pants Party, a force to be reckoned with. They finished with 66 points, scoring them a $20 GC. Brave new team Roebling stood up to the two champs, and won third place with 49 points and were awarded a $10 GC. Round Six was right up their alley, and their success doubling down beat team 6 Points to third place by exactly 6 points! Ha! Crazy, right? Never let me go without saying, well done and congrats to everyone, you played the game right!
