The event was fun, the groups were really into it and the staff was awesome. It was great to see a diverse group of teams even some families.

The only issue was in round #2 question 6, the answer was Dogue de Bordeaux, it is french and in English it is Mastiff, I didn't think to check the English translation so a few groups put Mastiff and challenged the answer, I said that because the answer was in French thats the answer it needed to be and I could not back track and change the scores, no one was really upset but a bit disappointed, I hope this makes sense, but even after this everything was all good

 

Also I forgot to write down the team numbers for: Jalapeno Business, Wintrivia Leviosa, Nacho Mama, and for Spirit of the Bottle Nose Dolphin. I hope you can look them up from previous games!

I'm not going to lie - it felt a little strange without my co-pilot Ben-e this week, but once I got over the momentary shock of not having my buddy around, things went swimmingly as always!

 

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: Jumanji is not a South Korean film.

  • Favorite moment: It's delightful that you know so much about musical posters!

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: Loved describing the picture of the morse code to the audience, forgot how cool Morse code is.

  • Favorite moment: I feel bad when I have to give out the clue of "HIs initials are _____" to the teams in the room - but it's also kinda funny.

  • Favorite moment: Learning about Ann Bancroft! What an amazing person.

  • Favorite moment: Someone pointing out after the show that the Stauffer's animal crackers ARE THE KNOCKOFF ANIMAL CRACKERS BARNUM FOR LIFE.
