What a rowdy night this was. I've never heard Leroy's this loud - the excitement was palpable! Let's see what all the fuss was about:

 

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: Couldn't have been completely messing up the pronunciation of Buttigieg many many times... Couldn't have been that.

Round 2

  • Favorite moment: Who's Betsy Ross?

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: The groans of everyone in the room after I announced the theme of this round... It's a joke.

Round 4

  • Favorite moment: Thinking about Jamie Foxx and Ed Sheeran as roommates.

Round 5

  • Favorite moment: Teams knowing what the answer is for question 10 EVEN BEFORE I READ IT OUT LOUD.

Round 6

  • Favorite moment: Having to encourage the room to "boo" a team that was taking far too long to complete their answers *COUGH*IMPEACHMENT*COUGH*

Round 7

  • Favorite moment: Thinking about how much people love those MIB movies... God I love those Men In Black movies.

Another classic night of quizzing - Jamie was kicking over chairs, I was keeping people stuck in them - all in all, quite FUN.

  • Favorite moment: Explaining that the Hot Mamas had a very interesting spelling of their Mediterranean Sea answer... By spelling it Baltic Sea...

  • Favorite moment: Realizing that everyone's answers of Pornstache WAS NOT A JOKE AND AN ACTUAL CHARACTER.

  • Favorite moment: Someone answering that the restaurant where Eddie Murphy worked was in Dr. Dolittle... No that was the restaurant where the Klumps ate

  • Favorite moment: Remembering how great of a character Linda Richman was.

  • Favorite moment: Playa Haters Ball going double or nothing and getting 20 points!!!!!!!

  • Favorite moment: Announcing that a team guessed that Johnny Storm was Hallie Berry....

  • Favorite moment: Discussing with the audience that Bonaire is NOT A UN MEMBER COUNTRY. ALSO NOT A COUNTRY.

What a surprise evening at Leroy's - surprise packed house and a surprise ending!!! Let's see what happened...

 

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: Enjoying how snarky question 4 was... "probably rather falsely"... Oh Snapple.

Round 2

  • Favorite moment: Observing to the crowd that this picture round everyone seemed to think that the Morrissey album picture was some latin musician... Guesses were - Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull....

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: Seeing how many spelling variations of Condoleezza there was! Wow, didn't know words could do that.

Round 4

  • Favorite moment: Having to repeat "He shares a name with a fictional cannibal." multiple times to the Eye Ballers aaaaaand they still couldn't get it.

  • Favorite moment: Having to explain that Anne McCarthy is definitely not the hive mind called "the collective".

Round 6

  • Favorite moment: Observing to the crowd that most people probably guessed that Ulysses S Grant just seemed like the type of president to write Cigars, Whiskey and Winning

  • Favorite moment: Announcing the winner by tie break as Peanut Gallery by 1 INCH.
