Another fantastic week of trivia at Leroy's! Teams gathered and points were won - new teams arrived on the scene in tremendous fashion and and a good time was had by all.

 

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: Hearing the crowd universally go - "DUH" for the first question. I guess everybody knows about Dalmatians?

Round 2

  • Favorite moment: Seeing how many teams guessed Friends for the third waitress. Yes that's Jennifer Aniston and no it's not Friends.

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: Thinking about Coldplay.

Round 4

  • Favorite moment: Having two teams come straight out and successfully guess the answer on the second clue!

Round 5

  • Favorite moment: Goat oil?

Round 6

  • Favorite moment: Having 3 teams go successfully double or nothing!

Round 7

  • Favorite moment: Realizing that "Stefan-i-stan" would make for a good country...

 

Overall another fantastic week - love hosting this show!

Still getting over how crazy last week was - so I entered this week with a bit of trepidation. I overcame my fear of being a lame Quizmaster and I entered into the arena with my head held high and ready for some questions!

 

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: The variety of incorrect guesses for Angel has Fallen... Included: Paris has Fallen, London has Fallen, White House has Fallen and just White House II

Round 2

  • Favorite moment: Some guessing "Detective Carl" for Carl Weathers....

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: Learning that another valid guess for "shinbone" is... "shankbone"?

Round 4

  • Favorite moment: Having two teams successfully guess who on the 10 point question!!!

Round 5

  • Favorite moment: Ah yes... The dreaded 5th round... Got a ton of grief again on this round and honestly, there was nothing I could say. I have NO IDEA how "Bacon" is a nautical term!? I'm getting roasted out there over these questions!

Round 6

  • Favorite moment: Remembering that Fred Armisen is Seth Meyers' sidekick

Round 7

  • Favorite moment: Gigli

I thought I was going to get my head chopped off hosting this evening. There were a few dodgy moments as debate became heated with the crowd - all in all everything was resolved and the evening went really well!

 

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: Seeing number of pork guesses for question number 6... Pork isn't a food. Did they have just a table of pork products?

Round 2

  • Favorite moment: Eagle Piss

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: Only one team guessing Hanson for question number 6

Round 4

  • Favorite moment: Learning all about the Bartman. Michael Jackson wrote a song called "The Bartman". Outstanding.

Round 5

  • Favorite moment: WHAT COLLOQUIAL TERM FOR PIECES OF CURDLED MILK COMES FROM THE NOISE WHEN BITTEN??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? SQUEAKY CHEESE? This question got such a horrible response for me - i'm afraid for other quiz masters out there and how they dealt with it.

Round 6

  • Favorite moment: After how intense round 5 was I was completely burnt out on round 6.

Round 7

  • Favorite moment: Michael Jackson was not one of the original 5 members of One Direction guys.

 

All in all - a very nice evening. To anyone reading this with anger or frustration still in their heart - I apologize for any misunderstandings. I'm just a quiz master trying to get by!
