I thought I was going to get my head chopped off hosting this evening. There were a few dodgy moments as debate became heated with the crowd - all in all everything was resolved and the evening went really well!

 

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: Seeing number of pork guesses for question number 6... Pork isn't a food. Did they have just a table of pork products?

Round 2

  • Favorite moment: Eagle Piss

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: Only one team guessing Hanson for question number 6

Round 4

  • Favorite moment: Learning all about the Bartman. Michael Jackson wrote a song called "The Bartman". Outstanding.

Round 5

  • Favorite moment: WHAT COLLOQUIAL TERM FOR PIECES OF CURDLED MILK COMES FROM THE NOISE WHEN BITTEN??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? SQUEAKY CHEESE? This question got such a horrible response for me - i'm afraid for other quiz masters out there and how they dealt with it.

Round 6

  • Favorite moment: After how intense round 5 was I was completely burnt out on round 6.

Round 7

  • Favorite moment: Michael Jackson was not one of the original 5 members of One Direction guys.

 

All in all - a very nice evening. To anyone reading this with anger or frustration still in their heart - I apologize for any misunderstandings. I'm just a quiz master trying to get by!

MOST PACKED NIGHT EVER. We had to bring in extra tables, seats and places to put humans. We were breaking glasses, breaking room occupancy records and breaking the "fun barrier".

 

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: Seeing how many teams put Sicily as the answer for answer #5... Last I checked a CITY was not an ISLAND.

Round 2

  • Favorite moment: What answers people guessed up with for Boogie Nights... "Date Night", "Tender Night".... "Sweaty Night"

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: MAMBO NO. 5 IS NOT A JAZZ SONG.

Round 4

  • Favorite moment: Learning that Jimi Hendrix carried a broom with him to school for protection. Whoa

Round 5

  • Favorite moment: Having MULTIPLE teams get all the answers correct on this round!!! Including Keeping up with the Kurdashians THANKFULLY.

Round 6

  • Favorite moment: Having every single team in the building (except for two) get all the answers correct for this round. Never had that happened to me before!!!

Round 7

  • Favorite moment: Revealing to the crowd that the one woman on the list was Mo'Nique!!! GROAN

It was packed in a serious way at Leroy's tonight - almost as packed as these scores WOW! Everyone did extremely well and we even had a King Trivia team from Fresno make an appearance!

 

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: Having so many people guess Borders instead of Barnes and Nobles... I guess it was really a 50/50 chance on that one.

Round 2

  • Favorite moment: The continuation of the running Barak Obama guess joke... NEVER GETS OLD - NEVER

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: Realizing that the guess of "We are the champions" for question 2 actually wasn't that bad of a guess considering the category.

Round 4

  • Favorite moment: When after all the clues - Code Blue still decided to go with the University of Ohio...

Round 5

  • Favorite moment: Playing "Edelweiss" for the room during round 6!

Round 6

  • Favorite moment: Having to argue with the Cheese Kurds over the answer for number 9... Yes I know that there is a song called "Cherry Hill" - the answer for this question was "Blueberry Hill"

Round 7

  • Favorite moment: Runkle Bunkles somehow getting all the Monopoly pieces correct for a DOUBLE OR NOTHING to secure the second place position!
