QUIZ RECAP

It was a fun, perfect evening of trivia at Pitfire with an incredible group of Quiz-takers. At one point I had a small child read off the answers on a couple of questions that she knew the answer to proving that Pitfire's Trivia-goers are so smart, even their kids are genius.

Quizzie McGuires won a round of free drinks by being able to name which two teams Ice Cube was referring to when he told San Diego to stop sending LA the teams that they don't want, and they knew exactly what years those two teams, the Clippers and Chargers, had relocated to LA.

In what I believe is the highest score that I have ever had at a King Trivia event, A Team Has No Name hit 5 double or nothings and only got two questions wrong all night! Holy cow! They more than earned their $25 gift card to Pitfire, with Milk Lords taking home $20, and Quizzie McGuires got a cool $15. Maybe we will see them next week at Pitfire. Maybe we will see YOU.

We had a packed house of both humans and dogs here at Pitfire Pizza on a beautiful Tuesday night.

One team had the audacity to call themselves Walker Texas Ranger, a nickname I've incurred for most of my life, but I was informed by my higher ups that I cannot deduct points from teams for personal reasons.

The night started off with loads of double or nothings which continued into the cookie-themed picture round

Almost every team guessed Dwayne "The Correct Answer" Johnson" on the 10 and or 8 point clue.

My my how could I forget Pappa Pia, who guessed the Alex Trebek themed drinking round answer exactly right.

At the night's conclusion Gary's Olde Towne Tavern who had a near perfect game, took home the top prize.

A great night was had by all!

Second place finishes.

After multiple failed double downs, Surprise. Beans. came back to finish in a healthy second place. But enough about them! The real winners tonight were Mind Your Own Brisket with a dominating win!

Finishing in third were regular powerhouse Tested Positive For Hogwarts followed by Milk Lords who JUST missed out on the top 3 after a very difficult 6th and 7th rounds.
