About Rocco's Tavern - Culver City
Good food, good drinks, good fun!
Good food, good drinks, good fun!
Three teams braved the booms and the bangs of Independence Day to play King Trivia at Rocco's Tavern.
After chasing the American dream through seven rounds questions, Michelle's Fan Club fulfilled their manifest destiny and finished in first place. Bottle Brats came in second (known tonight as the John Adams).
We'll be back next week for more of the only monarch we recognize - King Trivia!

An undergraduate degree is not necessary to play King Trivia at Rocco's Tavern, but knowing where to get one certainly helped our teams during tonight's Round 7.
The competition was fierce all night long with several ties and many lead changes. At the end of the night, only two points separated second place from fourth. ERAC CG finished third, one point behind I Drink and I Know Things. Let's Get Quizzical won the big prize with a solid score of 48.
The Parmesean's won the Drinking Round with an answer that was both highly appropriate and slightly rude.
More King Trivia comes at you next Monday night at Rocco's Tavern!

William Shakespeare wrote, "All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players." Speaking of players, Rocco's Tavern was the stage for King Trivia on Monday night. Five teams competed for for glory and the competition was fierce. Almost every team held the lead at some point and almost every round ended with a lead change.
Michelle's Fan Club not only won the Drinking Round, they also came in third. Mookman scored nine points in Round 7 and Cornhuskers scored seven, both finishing with 44. That led us "to unpathed shores, undreamed shores," or, as The Bard called it, the King Trivia tiebreaker.
The tiebreaker question was not written by Shakespeare, but dealt with what Shakespeare had written. And you would be hard pressed to find an ending to a Shakespeare play as dramatic as Mookman taking first place.
See you all again next week for more King Trivia at Rocco's Tavern where we will, as the great playwright wrote, "answer many a question, possibly on the subject of Hot Tub Time Machine. Billy Shakes out!"
