QUIZ RECAP

It was a nail-biter at Rocco's last night as no one knew who'd land on top until the bitter end. Ultimately it was a new team in 1st, 3 NORTH, who just stumbled in and were excited to find trivia was about to begin. Old favorites MR. T SAYS CURLING IS COOL...FOOL and FRISKY KITTIES had to settle for 2nd and 3rd, respectively, but they seemed to be happy with their prizes. Well, except one team. Maybe you can spot them in the photos...

It was another great night at Rocco's Culver City and even though many of the players only game for the Dodger game, they got just as excited by trivia! It was a pretty tight race for most of the night with the bulk of the teams being a point or two away from each other and it wasn't until the final rounds did a clear winner emerge. This week PHILOSOPHICAL DISTINCTION took the crown (and the $40 certificate) while SAD ROCKETS, last week's champs, had to settle for silver. MELTDOWN MINA eeked onto the podium for third and happily took their prize and ran!

Who wasn't at Monday trivia at Rocco's? YOU! You seriously need to come. The pizza smells so amazing that I almost stole a slice from a little child.

Mr. T Says... took an early lead with a few successful doubles, but Sad Rockets rocketed - eh - to the top in the second half. It came down to the last round and THEY TIED! Sad Rockets took the titles (and the $40 gift certificate) with the tie breaker. The Frisky Kitties held on respectfully to their third position place and made it to the podium.
